Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or IPU admission process begins in the month of March or April. Candidates who wish to apply for admission to any of the programs offered by IPU can apply online through the official website of the university. IPU offers more than 50 programs at the UG, PG, and Research levels. Admissions at IPU are based on the Common Entrance Test (IPU CET), which is conducted by the university, or scores obtained in the national-level entrance examinations.
Admission to UG and PG courses will also be done through the common university entrance test (CUET), conducted by NTA. The preference will be given to IPU CET and national-level test scores for respective programs, and CUET Exam scores will be given second preference. For admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Des, BALLB/BBALLB, and Medical courses, candidates are required to appear in the JEE Main, NATA, UCEED, CLAT UG, and NEET Entrance examinations, respectively.
For the final selection, the university will issue a merit list that will be based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates who meet the cutoff marks are then called for counselling, where they can choose their preferred program and college based on their rank and availability of seats.
