DTU takes admission through the joint entrance examination, which is conducted by the CBSE every year. After getting the result, eligible candidates are called for the counselling process and seats are alloted on the basis of ranks. DTU is a highly reputed college and only the top 1 percent students are able to secure a seat.

It isone of the most prestigious engineering College in the capital city of delhi. Know for the extra curricular activities and a suitable environment for the startup and entrepreneurship education. Known for various cultural activities and participation at the national and state level. Friendly teachers and have a great reputation and suitable for the further studies options in the capital city.

I had the option to choose between DTU, NSIT, and a few NIT. Since DTU ranked better in certain courses as compared to the aforementioned colleges, I chose to opt for a course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DTU. The fact that DTU was located in my home state was convenient and certainly impacted my decision in joining the college. DTU certainly has better infrastructure, courses, and faculty. But what made DTU unique was a campus culture honed through ages and star-studded alumni.

Because it was one of the best college I could get with my rank that time. And I was fascinated by the reputation and the highly successful alumni that has passed out of this college. Being an introvert, I always thought that the college life should be best utilised to develop your personality and hone your interpersonal skills through engaging in extracurricular activities like sports, drama,debating etc. And DTU boasts of providing a great platform and wonderful opportunities to express yourself and engage in a multitude of things. This college has got a large number of technical and cultural societies to showcase your talent. The course I opted is Mechanical, quite famous in DTU. The coursework is light and flexible so it gives you ample time to pursue your interests

Academically, if you are not the one for rott learning then you might have a hard time, but the campus life and the people you get to meet here, is priceless. A part of your heart will remain here forever.

The college is the best and unbeatable in terms of its ROI and always strives to provide students the best learning opportunities. I really feel it was my right decision to be here.

Our College is a good campus. We can see lots of birds and monkeys which reminds us of a good surrounding. There are always fresh vibes in the college.

The College is really nice, the faculty is good, the campus is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

Best exposure and more number of companies than anywhere else. Highly reputed. But don't expect anything from Teachers. This is just a platform which provides a chance to polish yourself and showcase it

DCE was famous for its advancement in Mechanical Engineering because of its student exchange program( Now not functional ), various techincal teams manufacturing different types of automobiles, advanced labs for research purpose and great placement opportunities( till late 2000's placement for mechanical engineering was close 200% ie everybody had more than one offer but now with increase in strength and growing IT sector it has significantly taken a fall to 85-95%)
