- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

- Actually the another thing is I am a South girl I don't know Hindi but coming learned Hindi now I am speaking in hindi it is nice

- I disliked is that no hostels people are so many problems some could not find the hostel
- The exams were very tough
- Faculty is not good here some teachers come to class say some story

The students get placements in the 6th semester onwards so if they study well they also get money from internships I did not do anything because my 2 nd semester only finished so the highest is 21lakhs per annum and the lowest is 3 lakhs per annum and the average was 9 lakhs per annum percentage for 100 only 60 per cent is eligible remaining no jobs I planned to study MTech in IIT and do ms in foreign

Course Curriculum Overview:
It is a professional course and after graduation, we can get decent jobs NIT is a reputed institute so we can get jobs easily compared to other colleges and courses students student ratio is good teachers are highly qualified it is a very hard exam.

- Greenery in campus and clubs and committee.Also th3 fests are quite amazing.
- Fests are quite amazing and incredible Can't describe in few words.
- Cricket is good here and a lot of Cricket tournament happens.
Dislikes
- Campus is really really small like 100 acres is very less.
- Some faculties are not as good and campus is small.
- Facilities for all sports are not available.

Placements are decent and just good for a Nit. The average is around 11lpa and branchwise Placement is also revealed. The good thing is that lower branches also get good Placement. Even if you are from mining you have a great opportunity.

- Faculty behaviour towards students , they are really supportive if you are good
- Fests/events - every week something is going on . You will get lots of opportunities to participate in various fun events
- Canteen - this is the best part of NIT Raipur campus. We have 3 canteens(bihan canteen , Vachan canteen , Indian coffee house (premium star level), 1 Amul parlour.
Dislikes
- lack of hostels is most probably the major issue in NIT Raipur since many years. Though there are many private pg's in surrounding. But this issue needs to be fixed .
- Campus size is not so big . We want more to explore Its just about 100 acres . Still the college main building too massive you won't be able to explore entire building in 1 year. All classes from first year to fourth year btech runs in same block
- Gym timings suck . Its only 2 hours open in evening for boys and in morning for girls.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent. It doesn't not matter from which branch you are . If you have skills and have a cgpa of above 7-7.5 most companies allow students from every branch to sit for placements. If you are decent in studies and you managed to brush up your skills in these four years . You will grab a good package despite whatever your branch is.

I am 1st year student so I have less experience with placements but from nitrr official link placement is good many companies can visit college highest package in 2023 is 57 lpa and avg is 10lpa percentage of students getting placed is 70 to 80%

- Clubs and fest makes your mind works smarter and different
- Nice lush green campus with good food quality in canteen

- There is less hostels available in nit raipur
- Too many assignments with quick deadline
- You won't get proxy because professors are strict
Placement Experience:
From the third semester students become eligible for placements and will get campus internships if they have skills there are multiple companies like Capgemini, Reliance, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant, and Wipro which will give an average package of 10.01 lpa.

- Less Study hours to focus on other activities
- Many fests and clubs for overall development
- No ragging, there is absolutely 0 ragging in campus
Dislikes
- Hostels are very less, only topper students can get hostels
- Classrooms are not so good, they can be better
- Old teaching style and curriculum. No smart ways to teach.

Placements are pretty good, highest 55, average 13.67. All big companies like Microsoft, De Shaw, JP Morgan and visit campus for recruitment and provide many offers to students.
We have an 80% placement rate.
My plan is to first grab a job and then decide what to do.

- I liked the environment around the campus
- The friendly nature of senior with their juniors
- Professional behaviour of faculty as well senior
Dislikes
- Few professor are way too strict with students
- Hostel capacity is way too less and students have to stay outside the campus
Placement Experience:
From the 5th sem onwards students are eligible for internship and students must do internship. And from the 7th sem, they are eligible for campus placement. According to statistics, the placement is pretty good with a good amount of students getting placed in good companies with 10 lacs of average placement.

- The location is inside the city soo if you want to go for a walk or want to experience city life.
- The professors are quite helping and you can also talk to PhD and Mtech scholars for your doubts.
Dislikes
- The hostel in NIT RAIPUR is quite a mess. The seats are allotted based on your CPI and for the first year on basis of distance.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am an ECE student. Like any other aspirant, my goal was also to get CSE in any good NIT or IIT but I didn't get one considering my rank after CSE I found ECE to be the most considerable branch as my brother was also from this branch he suggested to me to opt for it and I did and I don't regret it.
The student ratio at NIT Raipur is good in labs there would always be someone to help you out in case you are stuck in your experiments. The professors in class also clear your doubts effectively and if you want to make a project for the national science exhibition or can be your project the faculties are quite helpful. All the faculties are highly qualified professionals from different IITs some have also completed their education from abroad.
For the exams, we were the first batch after COVID soo everything was shifting from online to offline soo we were at a loss as we were already 3 months late for admission and our course also started late, but the exams are quite on the easier side.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
