- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

So the placement rate of my college is good. They give many opportunities to be placed. Many MNC visits our college and give packages of more than 50 lakhs per annum and also an average package at my college is like 8 lakh so the placement is good enough.

- The placement of collage is very good the average package is around 9.2 lakhs
- The collage provide lots of opportunity to follow your passion like dancing singing nad sports also
- Nit raipur give students to visit industries to know the industrial level works

- This collage doesn’t give hostels to every student.
- The campus size is small you feel vey fed up to see same things around campus
- The ratio of boys to girls is very its around 1:22
Course Curriculum Overview:
I always wanted to become a mechanical engineer therefore I take this branch.in nit raipur all faculty members are p.hd holders in their respective fields and my college faculty: student ratio is around 1:15. In our college semester is divided into two exams first you will give mid sem exam and after that end sem exam. the semester exams are not much tough just a moderate level.

NIT RAIPUR provides campus placement for their students and the students of 7th semester are eligible for campus placement and the student of 5th semester are eligible for internships. The companies which are visiting the campus is tata steel, Vedanta limited, Capgemini, adobe and many more companies. the no. of offers which are given to students are 685. ther percentage of students get placed are 82%.

The campus placements in our college are pretty good it comes under the top 10 nits in campus placements. The average package offered during NIT Raipur placements in 2022 stood at INR 10.1 LPA. Further, a total of 738 offers were received and 101 companies visited the campus during NIT Raipur placements in 2022. Apart from this, a total of 649 and 65 offers were received during NIT Raipur BTech and MCA placements in 2022, respectively.

- we have an open learning environment and a good thing about my college is CCC which open to everyone.

- all the professors courteous and friendly in nature.
Placement Experience:
from the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies that come to our college are Amazon, DE shaw, Fanatics, Adobe India, info Edge, PayTM, Arcesium, IBM, Capgemini, ONGC, HCL etc. The highest package offered was 55lpa by Adobe for roles of member of technical staff. In my branch, around 78% of students were placed. I am planning to work in the core industry.

- I liked the central computer center of the college, its very peaceful.
- I liked the college environment and campus life.

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for an internship after 2nd Year but will be completely placed for jobs only after completing the course and getting the degree. The name of the companies visited in nit raipur are Oracle, Capgemini, Fiat, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Samsung etc. The highest offer made by the company in Cse branch is 55LPA. The average package in the branch is 15lpa. The percentage of students getting placed in NIT Raipur is 76.8% according to stats. My plan after getting the degree is to do an mtech from IIT.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements only after getting their degree. fourth-year students sit for campus placement sessions whereas internship opportunities are provided by the college from 2nd year onwards. Major recruiters like Microsoft, Intel, Infosys, and JSW cement visit and offer good packages. The highest package on campus is around 52 lakhs for the CS department and the average package of on-campus placement is around 8-10 lakhs. And for an off-campus highest package of our college students is 1 Cr this year. Around 70 % of students get placed every year.

The placement of the college is good and various companies visited the college for the placement offer. Almost 90 percent of students from our course were placed in some known companies. The highest package offered was 55 LPA.

- Clubs and societies with their cultural fests and other activities which help in overall personality development of the student.
- Best laboratory facilities in Central India equipped with almost all the neccessary equipments with safety measures.
- Safe environment provided by the guards who help students and ensure no ragging activities take place in college.
Dislikes
- The curriculum needs to be updated as the system followed dates back to that of 90s.
- Better hostel and accommodation facilities to be arranged.
Placement Experience:
Candidates can appear for college placements from the 6th semester onwards. In the previous year, i.e. 2022, a total of 197 companies visited our college including PSUs like BPCL, IOCL, consulting firms like Fractal and tech giants Adobe and Amazon. Adobe offers a package of 55Lakh CTC whereas Amazon offers a package of 46Lakh CTC. Core companies like BPCL offer around 22Lakhs CTC.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
