- I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
- Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
- Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.
Dislikes
- Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
- It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
- It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Our placement of college is decent .
Students get ppo from 7th sem
In mining branch the highest package this year is 55lpa and the average is around 11lpa
70-80 percent students got placed
As per my plans is considered i have not figured it out yet

- College is located in the city. So you don't have to travel miles to get anything.
- College environment is good. Even if it is small, it is full of green trees. The security system is really good
- Food provided in college canteens, vachan and amul parlour is great
Dislikes
- No large auditorium is there in the college. The only auditorium in the campus can accommodate hardly 150 students or less.
- Hostel facility is not provided to everyone. One has to struggle to get good PGs and hostels outside and travel up and down
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students get eligible for campus placements. LinkedIn and many more renowned companies visit the campus. Few students even get PPOs even before graduating for more than 50lpa.highest package from my branch this year till now was 62lpa and average is more than 18lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it's in the trend now. Here in National institute of technology Raipur faculty is good. Faculty are very supportive. Per semester there are mid and end sem exams

The highest package in the yera 2024 is 62l by a cse student and avg package is 6 to 10l

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the mining branch because of my background. I live in colliery area where mining activities are going on. And our college is best for mining branch as it provides good placement. The faculties there were very knowledgeable and helpful

Placement Experience:
The placements of tech branches are outstanding. The average package for IT branch for year 2023 was near to 19 lacs and median was 14 lacs. Approx 87 percentage of students from IT branch were placed.

- College is situated in the middle of city. So everything is easily available.
- Placement opportunities are very very good.
- Extra curriculum activities like yoga and value education are promoted.
Dislikes
- Hostels are very less. Only very few students get hostel
- Less attention to sports and ground is given.
- Campus size is very less. It is of 100 acers only.
Placement Experience:
In terms of placement our college is very good. Our college has an average package of 10.42 lakhs. Talking about my own branch Information Technology, it has an average package of eighteen lakhs and median package of fifteen lakhs. More than hundred companies visit our college and Highest package is 55 lakhs.

- The most loved thing is freedom, we are open to go outside of college,.
- The ragging free environment of our institute
- We get enough time for extra curricular activities,
Dislikes
- Time boundaries,for our hostels,it is for 1st year
- Unavailablity of night canteen, unlike other nits or iits
- Small campus area, that's why we don't get hostel too.
Placement Experience:
From 7th sem. Students are eligible for placement, each year , companies came in campus, in period of whole year, they take interview and select the students, and last we get placed all students. Even some have low package.i am thinking about doing m.tech after this.

- Placement percentage droped this year due to recission going on due to covid
Placement Experience:
To be eligible for campus placement we have to be in 7th semester ie. From your fourth year
Ther are many big MNCs which visits our campus for placement like JSW,detolite,Mahindra,Google,infosis,tata,tcs,tata steel etc.
The highest package of 2023 is around 55 lpa at an average of 12 lpa
Percentage of students placed are around 70-80

What is your review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur?

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-
- Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.
- Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.
Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and
idea-sharing with them is negligible.
- Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.
- Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.
- Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.
- Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.
Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
