Likes

Infrastructure is not as much good as compared to other nit's
Placement is better from lots of other nit's
Faculties are highly qualified and there way of teaching is also good

Infrastructure is bad as compared to other nit's
Also all the students don't get opportunity to stay at hostel
There is only one main building of college

Course Curriculum Overview

As I wanted to pursue my engineering from mechanical branch thats why I choose mechanical. In 1st year student teacher ratio is 90:1 but from 2nd year it reduces to 60:1. Mostly the faculty where phd's If you study 1hour daily you can score really good grade

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

You can apply for placement from 3rd year onwards. Mostly all the company came here Highest package of college was 2 crore as of my knowledge and average was 10 lacs 95% students gets placed and some students decides to study futher

Fees and Financial Aid

If your family income is under 5 lacs you can avail 2/3 refund on tution fees . You can avial for various scholarship once you joined the college there is lots of opportunity inside the campus as it is under top colleges of India

Campus Life

Annual fest is called eclectica it gets conducted mostly in january And Techfest is know as avartan it gets conducted in October. There is lots of clubs and committees of sports,dance , entrepreneurship etc

Admission

To get into this college first you have to study for joint entrance exam which is know as jee and your rank should be under 50k to get into most of the nit's . You can apply for jee at nta.nic website If you fall under SC and ST category then if you can avail 100% tution fees refund

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Ssipmt Raipur review my experience

Placement Experience:

Placements at SSIPMT Raipur are pretty good. Students become eligible from 6th semester for campus placements. Companies that visit: TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. They mostly offer roles like software developer, support engineer, tester, etc. Highest Package: ?42 LPA (off-campus international placement) Average Package: Around ?6 LPA Placement Percentage: Almost 100% for CS/IT branches if the student is active and skilled. My Future Plan: After completing my degree, I’ll try to get placed through campus first, then maybe switch later for better opportunities or prepare for higher studies if needed.

The placements are not at all good here, the highest package ever is 7.5LPA and the lowest is 1.25LPA so the average usually comes around 2.5LPA which is not enough with the current inflation rates of our country. And they don't get very big companies to come for the hiring.

Placements are decent. It doesn't not matter from which branch you are . If you have skills and have a cgpa of above 7-7.5 most companies allow students from every branch to sit for placements. If you are decent in studies and you managed to brush up your skills in these four years . You will grab a good package despite whatever your branch is.
