IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements are good here. In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Numerous multinational companies visit here some being Google, Adobe, Amazon, Cisco, etc. Highest placement offer is made by google for abot 90 lakhs, average is 23 lakhs.More than 90 percentage of students have been placed.Placements are still going on so exact values cannot be predicted.

The campus placement here is quite good it is improving in the upcoming years. In my branch last year There was a placement of 88 percent and with a 22 lakh median package and a is improving itself for the coming year.

After 3rd year, students become eligible for placements. companies like GOOGLE, AMAZON, ADOBE, etc. visit IITP. Last year around 160 companies visited with more than 400 offers made. The average package of college is 23 LPA.

As a fresher here studying for only 2-3 months, I don't really know about the placements but have heard that our college being a tier 2 IIT college has good placements for students with decent packages of six-digit lpa figures no less than any top iits however only top branches are preferred for placements making it difficult for students of mechanical or below to get placement job without a higher cgpa in college. My plan after completing the degree is to get a high-paying job in the CS/IT field whether or not on campus or off-campus as the IIT tag will surely help give me an edge in any placement off campus.

Talking about placements, The average package of the college last year was 29.5 lakhs, which is eventually better than some top iits also. From 3rd year students are eligible for placement offers. The highest International package from our college is around 1.2 crores. There are about 95% of students placed as in my branch last year from 35 students 32 were placed and the remaining 3 opted for higher studies or going for businesses. So, the percentage of students placed is very high.

Placements at IIT Patna is something because of which many people prefer it or have come here( including me). I don't care even if someone says I am biased but many others believe that placements here are even better than some of the old IITs.

Campus placements are the easiest things to get into IITs, since they have a great brand value and provide the perfect platform to give exposure to all top-class companies even if we want to go for off-campus placements

the placements in our college are best of the two-tier iIITs companies visits here are Google Microsoft Jaguar Amazon etc highest package goes about 1 to 2 crores and the placement percentage is 80 percentage

From the 3rd or we can say the 5th semester you are eligible for an internship and from the 7th semester you are eligible for campus placement our highest package all goes upto 1Cr my plan is very clear that I may go out of the country for further studies.

Placements are one of the best aspects of our college as per our data the overall average package in 2023 was about 23.6LPA. this is comparable to most of the first-generation IITs. The internship opportunities are versatile here there are both domestic and international opportunities ample in amount. companies such as Google, microsoft visit our campus frequently for job and internship opportunities.
