Faculty in my department are very good .i like the way of their teaching they are ready to entertain your doubts ready to take extra classes
The placements opportunities here are very good, as the college has some of the very best company connections thus helping us to have a bright placement opportunity.
Many scholarships are available you can avail anything one of my friends hot 50000 scholarship from ngo and it is perfect year .so that he can study well .

Dislikes

The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );
I don't like the washing machines provided. they don't work most of the times and not good care is taken for them.
Food i was bit dissatisfied with mess food and bored of it

IIT PATNA blazing gem in 2nd gen IITs

Placements are absolutely fabulous here .
there are a lot fest here cultural, sports,tech and nebula
iit patna has really big campus,and best professors

Dislikes

The weather of bihta(near patna) is so hot,sunny
The are near iit patna is not good as its away from from main city patna
the wifi facilities is not good as compared to old iits

Placements provided by our company are very it's one of the best among the second-gen IITs. 7th semester students with above 6 cgpa are eligible for campus placements. The average package provided by companies this year was 23.9 lakh per annum. Big tech giants like Google,microsoft, adobe, Meta, and Samsung, and other big companies like Amazon, and Mercedez, hft's also started hiring students. The highest package offered was 1.37 crore per annum by Google London in 2022, in 2023 the highest package was reported to be 82 lakhs(placement is still going on). 100% of students got placed in 2022. However, 83.05% of students got placed in 2023 (placement still going on). I will participate in college placements.

Valuable Things About IIT Patna

Likes

NICE big campus, nice new building of hostel, Mess food quality is great.
Interactive seniors , Lots of green vegetations etc.
Great and highly qualified faculties etc.

Dislikes

Hostel has only 8 Washing machines which are not distributed to every floor.
Lan speed is not enogh as a student require.
Climate is hot , some north east people or southern part , Maharashtrian people feel uncomfortable.

After 3rd year students get placement offers. There are 250+ companies visiting IIT Patna. 1.37 crore package is the highest. The average package is 23.90 LPA. 100% Placement in CSE and EEE. After getting the degree, I plan to take a decent job in an Indian company and settle in India.

Engineering in IIT Patna

Likes

I like Gymkhana means sports activities.
I like the fests here .You enjoy a lot in Fests .
I like hostel here and the various opportunities like joining various clubs.

Dislikes

Surrounding area .it is far from city and nearby area is not good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to become an engineer and IITs are the best college in India for engineering. Faculties are very good here they are ranked among the world's top 2% of faculties. Their teaching methods are good and Tutorial classes help you a lot. There are two exams every semester, one is mid-sem and the other is end-sem and you can easily pass them if you study a few times before the exam.

IIT PATNA: Isle of Learning

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Patna are the best. Last year in 2022 the median package for CSE was 40 LPA which was one of the highest among all IITs. Students got Job offers from Google, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft Research and many other companies.

College life is best

Likes

I like mess food provided here which is I think best ever I faced
Here library is best means every book I want I get here
Classroom and hostel facility is best here

Dislikes

Here after 10 pn we can't go out of hostel door
Mess management is not proper food is best but not management
Class timings is not proper means more and more classes taken

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in electrical engineering. Here student and faculty ratio is proper as it wants. All teachers are highly qualified and also teaches well. There are upto 2 months gap in every exams taken here not much difficult if we study well.

IIT PATNA review

Likes

I liked the hostel Life it was a whole new experience for me
I liked the class room facilities it is quite big
I liked that faculties are interactive .

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not good even basic facilities are damaged
Food in mess is very bad and there are insects in our food few times
There is no garden in our college where we can sit and relax

I chose this course as I was interested in electrical and the curriculum here is good. The faculty-student ratio is also good. The faculties solves our doubts. Faculties are qualified and term exams are tough which occurs every 2-3 months.

Clubs and social events in the college held every year

Campus placements are really awesome in our college, 23.8 LPA is an overall average package. For the electrical department, 25 LPA is the average. Many big companies come to our college like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, etc.

All about iit patna from my view

Likes

Club activities, mess food, hostel accomodation and friends from diverse geographical background.
Students behaviour, anti ragging experience,
Cricket ground, gymkhana, maths teacher and curriculum

Dislikes

Gulab Jamun is limited and lan sometimes doesn't work without any prior message or mail.
Curfew for first year students due to which we cannot go outside our hostel after 10pm
Natural scenery: there are grasses or shrubs grown in an uncontrolled manner.

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Facebook, Netflix, Deloitte, Schlumberger, etc. come for placements. Many of our seniors get pre-placement offers. This year, 462 offers were made with a whooping average of 25 lpa and the highest being 82 lpa. Many students (80-85)percent get a job. Those who don't get a job either have planned for higher studies or another goal.

REVIEW FOR IITP

Likes

The availability of night canteens in the campus
The campus is green and huge with good air flow
Placements are really good considering this is a 2nd gen IIT

Dislikes

The mess food is really bad, atleast here at CVR hostels
The internet was a big big disappointed, no wifi in cvr hostes );

There is a Placement Cell at IITP. IITP shines in its placements and job offers to be honest. Many known companies do come to this college for placement drive and offer huge CTCs in EEE branch the average package ranges from 25 to 35 lpa

I like seniors of this college. They are very supportive and always tries to give us freshers the best they can.
I like the atmosphere here. Far away from main city and also the campus is filled with trees so very less pollution around here.

Dislikes

First thing that I hate here is that there is very low internet speed in whole campus

Placement Experience:

Last semester you became eligible for campus placement and the companies that came for the placements are Google IOCL Infosys Vipro. The average package this year is 29 lakhs. About 80% of students get placed. I plan to go for civil services after getting a degree
