Course Curriculum Overview

I've chosen this course as it is a circuital branch hence a lot of scope in terms of internship and placements. Faculties and TAs are very helpful also they are very good at doubt-solving. The student-faculty ratio is around 50:1.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are awesome for our college as many big companies like Coding Ninjas, Microsoft, and Atlassian give handsome amounts for internship stipends. Students apply for the Internship in their third year.

Placement Experience

Campus placements are really awesome in our college, 23.8 LPA is an overall average package. For the electrical department, 25 LPA is the average. Many big companies come to our college like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The field structure is pretty organized like for a general IIT in India. Per semester fees are around 145000. Many scholarships are also available category-wise, gender-wise, and financial-wise. The cost of the study is quite sustainable.

Campus Life

Some of the annual fests are Anwesha, Celesta, Infinito, TedX, and many more. Books are available in the physical library as well as in the digital library. Some of the social groups are Hoot Club, Njack for coding, and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has all the basic facilities including a washing machine, water cooler, and other basic amenities. Meal quality is also very good. The registration process for the Hostel starts on the first day of arrival and it's quite affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

Eligibility is PCM in class XII with 75% and the exam is JEE Advanced. Reservations for girls are around 20% and regular SC, ST, and OBC reservations. Application for Jee Advanced can be found on its official website.

Placement Experience:

About placement my college is not so old it was stared in 2017 but till now it did very great achievement it also provide campus placement.Some companies visited my college in placement season like atlassian ,once microsoft is also visited my college, tata ,tcs etc visit this college. And placement record is decent last year which is around 11 to 12 lpa in cse and highest package is 83 lpa in atlassian .If anybody did hardwork in college then they can achieve good placement from this college also.

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course. Basically i gave JEE and according to my JEE Advanced rank of 2023 i was getting EE/ECE in some og the Mother IITs but i didn't want to pursue electrical engineering so took CSE in IITP.
