- Faculties at NIT-Patna are quite supportive.
- Despite of a small campus there are facilities for almost all sports.
- Clubs of NIT-Patna are active too. One can use them to enhance their soft skills.
Dislikes
- The condition of Classrooms here at NIT-Patna are not so good.
- The Campus of Current college is not so big. We can't even play two outdoor games in the field.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our new curriculum is quite good . Since in our college the option for branch sliding has been removed so now from the 1st semester itself the cources are branch specific.It means you dont't have to study irrelevant subject other than your domin.
Internships Opportunities
As a fresher i don't know much about the internship opportunities but yess our senious had told that you have to prepare for the internships for the ending of 2nd sem as there are quite less opportunities for the interns but yes if you are prepared you will certainly get it.
Placement Experience
The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Fee here at NIT-Patna is quite affordable.Like other NITs here also there is also some waiver on the fee like there will be no tution fee charged if your family income is below 1 lakh 2/3rd of the fee will be waived if your family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh.At the time of admission you have to pay a liitle more than other NITs as the developement fee for NIT-Patna is more.At current there are not much scholarships from the college but there are some for some categories.
Campus Life
Due to small campus there is not much to explore in the college but yaa there different events do happens quite frequently .There is also a annual techno cultural fest namely Corona and Avalanche.There are too different socio-cultural clubs as well as technical clubs which are quite active.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities at the hostel are quite good.The quality of food is decent .The only thing which can be concerning is the cleanliness. The menu of the hostel is quite good as there are different items in breakfast everyday.
Admission
The reason behind selecting this college is obiously the tag of NIT.If anoyone has decided to engineering his first choice will be IITs or NITs because of the facilties which are provided in these colleges in every field not only in studies.Also palcements at IITs and NITs are quite good.
Faculty
Faculties at NIT-Patna are obiously great scholars.Some are friendly while some are rude too,this is the story of every college. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:70. The main exams for the academic year are the mid-sem,viva-voice and the end-sem.There too happens class tests but its frequency is not fixed.
Night Life
Since the Boys hostel is outside campus so there is less scope of late-night activities.But ya one can acess all the facilities like gym,cafeteia,sports courts till 8pm.Since our college is in main town so there are diiferent places to hangout some of this are Patna Zoo,Measuem,etc.
