How is NIT Patna, overall?

The study halls and labs are fitted with the latest facilities. Enough facilities like Air/Rail/Road transport to reach Patna from various locations of the country. 1st year students are allotted a single hostel, with 3 students in one room. However, from 2nd year onwards, students are allotted hostels along with seniors. The central library, facilitated with high speed WiFi and AC facilities, houses a precious collection of books. The seniors and faculty both are helpful and approachable.

What are some negatives of NIT Patna?

Students claim that the campus is extremely small. The faculty here is highly educated but not trained up to the mark. The administration and official works are extremely slow. Fees system here is semester wise . I paid 62083 for 2nd sem .and 115000 for the first sem including sem fee. Fee wavior is also applicable here. I fall in category of 1 to 5 lacks ,family income. Meanwhile sc/st quota avail 100% fee wavior here on tution fees. No wavior is applicable on hostel and mess fee. Sum of all other fees total up to 10000 approx. Includes. Development fee ,lab fee etc

Best College For Engineering in India

My family income is less than 1 lakh so I don't have to pay any tution fee. I have to pay ?41250 in all even semesters and ?42050 in odd semesters (We need to pay extra 800 in odd semesters for annual medical insurance). Tution fee is of ?62500 , Institute Caution Money is to be paid in the first semester of ?10000 (refundable at the end) and and hostel security money of ?6000 (refundable), registration fee is ?1500 each semester, Admission processing fee of ?4000 to be paid in 1st semester, development fee is very high i.e ?30000 to be paid in 1st semester, library fee of ?1000 each semester , IT Infrastructure Fee of ?750 each semester, Training and Placement fee of ?2000 to be paid in 1st Semester, Hostel Maintenance Fee of ? 2000 each semester , Convocation fee of ?3000 to be paid in last semester of the courses, Alumini Activity fund fee of ?1500 to be paid in the last semester, Identity Card fee ?200 in 1st semester, student welfare fund fee and student activity fee of ?1000 each to be paid in 1st semester. In 1st Semester, Total fee one is required to pay is ? 156750and then ?104550 in odd semester and ?103750 in even semesters for students whose family income greater than or equal to 5 lakhs . For students whose family income is less than 5 lakhs and Greater than equal to 1 lakh get 60 % tution fee waiver and students whose income is less than 1 lakh get 100% tuition fee waiver of ?62500. There is also 100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students. There are various scholarships available for students like Minority-1 which grants ?17000 to the students belonging to minority community, There is Ex-servicemen scholarship for students whose parents are from defence forces they get stipend of ?2500 and there are more such scholarships and stipends available for OBC and other minority communities. Apart from that , college also encourages students to apply on National Scholarship Portal for Scholarships.

NIT-Patna at a Glance

The Fee here at NIT-Patna is quite affordable.Like other NITs here also there is also some waiver on the fee like there will be no tution fee charged if your family income is below 1 lakh 2/3rd of the fee will be waived if your family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh.At the time of admission you have to pay a liitle more than other NITs as the developement fee for NIT-Patna is more.At current there are not much scholarships from the college but there are some for some categories.

If I am talking about fee structure of per semester 56000 including mess and tution fee ....and yearly I pay 112000 including two semester of both mess fee and hostel tution fee for general category.For sc st they have to pay only mess and hostel fee

In general fees structure is basically paid on basics of our reservation category as SC,ST students are given the total course fee waiver and they have to pay only the hostel expenses and mess expenses . Now for GEN,EWS,OBC fee will be varying based on their income details i.e., it varies over some income ranges as follows: GEN,EWS,OBC students with annual income more than 5 lakhs : 2,33,500 per year GEN,EWS,OBC students with annual income btw 1-5 lakhs: 1,50,166 per year GEN,EWS,OBC students with annual income less than 1 lakh : 1,08,500 per year SC,ST and all PWD students : 1,08,500 per year And during admission process in JOSAA COUNCELLING AND CSAB some fees are to be paid for admission process that also varies for all categories as : for all GEN,OBC,EWS STUDENTS: 75,000 SC ,ST and PWD students :32,500 this is actaully seat acceptance fees+partial admission fees NOTE: ALL DEVELOPMENT FEES ,LAB FEES ETC ARE CONSIDERED I COURSE FEES ITSELF NO EXTRA FEES ARE TAKEN.

NIT PATNA one is the prestigious college of our college

My one year fee of this college is 9600 rs which includes 4500 rs for even and 5100 rs for odd semester respectively which includes all fees such as registration fees, labs, SAC fees, gym and all activities. The tution fee actually depends on the income or category as my father has income below 1 lakh so I have 0 tution fees but my friend who has income certificate of 1 to 5 lakh range so he has to may total of 53000 rs per year.
