I have chosen the Electrical Engineering branch, because of some interest in Electronics things as my father's business in electrical & electronics. Also, IIT Patna has one of the best faculties as 13 Faculties come under 2% Top scientists list in the world, this is also a factor for choosing this college. There are 126 academic staff for 2,126 students. They are highly qualified from reputed institutions, like IITs, under the top 100 Universities in the world, etc. All teach great and show their efforts in teaching good as possible. Exams are held at regular intervals- Per semester there are two exams mid-semester and End sem exam. One-one quiz for each subject taken before mid-semester and end-semester.

There are many companies that give internships with a good amount of stipend. A good amount of IT companies visit and also jobs offered in analytics, etc. Some of the new recruiters are from the bank industry, Oil corporations, etc.

After 3rd year students get placement offers. There are 250+ companies visiting IIT Patna. 1.37 crore package is the highest. The average package is 23.90 LPA. 100% Placement in CSE and EEE. After getting the degree, I plan to take a decent job in an Indian company and settle in India.
