Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because mainly of my rank and the average package of IIT Patna is greater than any of the other tier 2 IITs and the faculty of the IIT Patna are the top 10 of the total Indias so it was my choice

Internships Opportunities

I am still a freshie here so I did not apply for any internship but according to the information from my senior the internship offer is about 70thousand per month and the roles offered are front end and they are get training and blockchain society especially for the MBA course

Placement Experience

the placements in our college are best of the two-tier iIITs companies visits here are Google Microsoft Jaguar Amazon etc highest package goes about 1 to 2 crores and the placement percentage is 80 percentage

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure per sem is about 1.8 lakh for every semester it is 1 lakh 20 thousand for the general category students and 2/3 rd of the fees are null for the category students only 2/3 rd of the tution fees are nullified and various scholarships like the Reliance scholarship can be availed

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is Anwesha the biggest in northeast Indian and the tech fest is Celesta the library resources are very big and the all classes are air-conditioned and the new library building is going to be done in the year it is very big there are many clubs are very big

Hostel Facilities

2 fans and 3 tube lights are provided for a room of 3 students in our hostel the quality of food is average here the mess contains 4 days of non veg the registration for mess and hostel is very easy and done in half an hour

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

The admission process is through josaa counselling. I took the Jee Mains exam and I qualified for it on the first attempt the cut off was 99 for the general student's percentile which is the top 1 per cent of applicants then wrote Jee Advanced and got a rank of 10071 and got a seat in iit patna mechanical engineering

Best at Low rank and low Fee

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
