Life at NALSAR

Likes

Lush, green campus atmosphere. Great for times outside of classes.
Consistent fests throughout the year. Never a dull moment.

Dislikes

Campus is located very far from the main city
Mess food can be subpar at times and need to be improved

Fees and Financial Aid:

For foreign nationals from non saarc countries, the tuition fees is 12000 usd. 6000usd for saarc countries 3 lakhs for general. Multiple scholarships are possible to apply for, based on clat ranks or type of reservation

The freindly nature of the peers on campus, is the biggest support system
the libarty and equity principles that are a part of the campus spirit that allows and natures lawyers and future politicians

Dislikes

The mess food at times is bad and the eatries need to be developed
The location of the campus is not ideal and is located very farawy from the city making the commute to the airport or the railways station crumbersome

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee is around 2.8 lakh per annum, which is used for all the necessities and one lakh ten thousand of the tutorial fees. The fees also include access to the library, gym equipment, multi-purpose sports turf and internet facilities.

WHY NALSAR ABOVE OTHER NLU'S

Likes

The academic intelligence of the professors is intriguing and they are very helpful in every aspect of the law school. And the seniors are friendly and supportive.
The health centre of the campus is too good to be true. Having a hospital in the campus makes you feel safe and the doctors are heavily experienced.

Dislikes

The food is at time unhygenic and gives tummy issues. And the eateries can be developed a lot too.
The competitive culture of the campus may get toxic at times.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees includes tuition fee of 1,10,000. The other fees include the mess, hostel and library fees which totally amounts upto 2,80,000 per annum. There are many scholarship options available basing on the merit of the students.

Overall it has been a great experience, the professors are outstanding. They are qualifed and experienced in the domain.
Getting to interact with the best minds of the country. Getting to network with the best minds is amazing

Dislikes

The packages not matching IIM, dominance and control by law students

I think its a reasonable course being 8.5lakh for the entire course, provided you are given scholarships and financial assistance.This fee includes everything from mess, hostel rooms,library,24/7 internet connectivity in the entire campus. The beautiful lake in the campus. The campus could make your 2 years the most memorable.

Likes

The Liberal Nature of the University as a whole, which allows for a very enriching college life
The Campus life, fests and events, the relaxed schedule which all contribute to great overall experience

Dislikes

The competitiveness, overall the structure does seek to foster competitiveness, but it can get out of hand and too much sometimes.
The distance from the city. It is located very very far.

The fee is almost 3 Lakhs per annum, and the increase is about 10,000 per annum. There are financial support systems and programmes available for students from backward communities and also for students from the EWS families.

NALSAR Hyderabad - Dream college for every Law student

Likes

Awesome average package and highest package .Many big companies come here for oncampus placement
Our college is very good for cultural and extra curricular activities .

Dislikes

Tution fees is a little high for our college for an average middle class Indian family .
Hostel facilities are very poor disgusting in our college . Meal quality is also not good at all

Fees and Financial Aid:

There is no such thing as a fee hike policy but NLASAR fees are already too high and almost all NLUs have fees ranging from 2 to 75 lakhs a year which is a pretty good amount for a middle-class Indian. The Vice-Chancellor shall be the Patron of the University Scholarship committee and shall exercise final authority over all decisions regarding scholarship regulations and disbursal. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship annual income of parents of the student shall not exceed 800000 In the case of 2nd to 5th-year students, they should have scored a minimum CGPA required for passing till the last academic year. The minimum CGPA should be 6.0 on the 10-point CGPA scale or its equivalent grade of B+.

There are scholarships based on need, and no fee hike is currently present. Scholarships can be availed after securing admission through the admission office. You can take part in competitions and other jobs to make money on the side
