NALSAR MBA Eligibility Criteria

  1. The applicants of the MBA program should meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • A graduate of any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Institution / University; or

  • Deputy Registrars / Assistant Registrars of High Courts as nominated by the respective High Courts.

  • Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMET (PG) (NALSAR MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST) score card.

  • If a candidate secures a percentile below 70 in CAT and XAT, the candidate will have to appear for NMET (PG).

CLAT top scorers if from general category then that is the only way of getting admission in NALSAR. I wish there were two ways to it but sadly there aren't any and that is the most unfortunate thing. Nearly 10 of our friends who did CLAT classes together had one dream that was to get admission in NALSAR and only I could as my CLAT rank was under 100.

I didn't apply to many colleges but applied to nlsiu bengaluru , nuals kochi and RMLNLU in lucknow was rejected from nlsiu in bengaluru and accepted in NUALS kochi and RMLNLU in lucknow all these are top colleges Admissions can be taken by qualifying clat exam which happens once a year I got rejected from NLSIU IN bengaluru, i think it was because of my marks The exam consist of 120 questions and include subjects like english, current affairs , legal reasoning and logical reasoning and quantitative techniques The cutoff for NALSAR is around 90 in general category and for NLSIU is 110 and my score was less than 110 got rejected from NLSIU FOR ADMISSION: write clat and qualify with cutoff marks for NALSAR in exam Counselling process: all over india Choose the colleges you wanna go and wait for results The results are based on marks and colleges selected Go to the alloted college and submit the documents for the course choosen

Well, i rejected NLSIU Bangalore for NALSAR as NALSAR was the place I always wanted to be. Admission is from the rank that you get in CLAT as in December every year, the CLAR exams are conducted and by February results are out. From May we can apply and by June we get confirmation too. This is the procedure and this is how students are getting admission here.

I gave Clat 2024 and in first merit list i got Nalsar Hyderabad through consortium counselling. I was earlier thinking of nls banglore but i preferred nalsar above nls coz nalsar is pretty much chill and it's curriculum semester are much more relaxing than the trimester that nls have.

Actually I written CLAT and IIM Rohtak ,but I also applied for IPM Nalsar, for many reasons I couldn't make into National law universities , but I got the best opportunity to learn IPM in the same National Law University which is one of my dream University. I didn't aim for any specific college ,but applied for many to get one among that , I got selected in IPL Rohtak, SLAT Hyderabad, many other prestigious private colleges but chosen Nalsar IPM because of many reasons like it is in Hyderabad,fee structure, future plans etc. When I joined IPM Nalsar I got shortlisted for my CLAT score ,later they also consider our 10,12 th grades and shortlist for the interview later they provide seat, we need to show our confirmation by paying 50000, which would be added to our fees when we joined. Now they are in the process to put separate exam. They are modifing in different ways to make it competitive enough and give best to the students who enrolled for the course

Nalsar is the third best Law College in the country according to the NIRF Rankings. It is the highest NAAC accredited law college with an accredition of A++. The college has a commendable placement record. The college takes admission through CLAT

Admission:

I had applied to Nlud as well but decided not to go as nalsar is closer to home and better for corporate. Nalsar primarily accepts admissions from the CLAT exam with cutoffs going into 300s Foreign nationals can apply based on 12th board or equivalent exam marks.
