I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

The underrated college

Likes

It's coding culture and overall environment

Dislikes

The whole cost of studying is around 17 lakhs+ which is quite expensive considering nits

Placement Experience:

The internship starts from 3rd year around June July .There are many companies visiting the college .the big names like Microsoft atlasian,Google, Flipkart,trilogy ,media net .etc the avg placement of college is around 15 lpa

Quite a decent, robust and allround package

Likes

Wide scholarships facility provided for every semester
Placements performance are quite good every year.
Clubs library sports campus life and all

Dislikes

Attendance policy is quite strict. Can be flexible a bit.
Little tough curriculum for ece and eee branch
Fees is quite high for some. Should be made affordable for all

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement starting from semester 7. More than 100 companies visit the campus every placement season with more than 400 offers. The highest package is around 70 lpa and 16blpa average for most renowned companies. Almost 90 percent of students from circuital branches get placed. Nos. decrease as we move further to mech prod and chemical.

All about BIT Mesra

Likes

I liked campus of BIT Mesra very much as it has quiet lush greenary and fresh air.
Hostels are very decent and have quite fast internet connection in each room.
Teachers are very punctual and try to maintain class schedule.

Dislikes

There is no night canteen available in campus.
Administration is very strict so you should be cautious, not to do any indecipline.

Placements at bit mesra are quite decent, in 2022 placement 235 recruiters participated and 1257 placement offers were received. In 2021, 746 offers and in 2020, 831 offers were placed. Internships start in the 5th semester.

I liked the college campus,and it's greenery
The faculties are good here along with good facilities
The placement here is upto you and your skills as college can only help in bringing recruiters to the college

Dislikes

I don't dislike anything, it's a good college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from 3rd year itself, and the placement here is really good with an excellent record of getting higher percentage of students placed in good firms and industries.

Likes

College has a huge campus size and lush green forests
Very good alumuni neetwork since it is old college
Many companies come for placement .

Dislikes

There is no student body in the college.
There is no proper admistration in the college.
Student life is little bit hectic due to covid

Placement Experience:

Students are given internship opportunities in 3rd year. Various companies such as Microsoft, sprinkler Accenture come here for placements .for ece there is 90 per cent placement. I would like to be placed after my degree

My Best College Life at My BIT.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from the third semester during masters for their placements. The highest package was 24 lakhs in 2019. Students pursuing masters here get good opportunities for prevailing research in other colleges or in BIT itself

True face of BIT MESRA

Likes

Campus is very beautiful specially during rainy season.
We have so many clubs , huge Library, and a huge Gym.
Night light life is very awesome but only for boys.

Dislikes

Administration is very bad as it do not listens to anyone.
The environment is very toxic and mentally is very biased as many professor are bengoli .
Marking scheme is very tough if you want good gpa work very hard

Students get eligible for campus placement after the 7th semester. We have Samsung, Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, etc. with an average package of 20-22 lpa for my branch. The highest package offered was about 85 lpa and avg was 15-18 lpa. The percentage of students placed was more than 90%. My plan is to go for the gate and then work in a PSU.

Not what you see form outside

Likes

Campus , facilities, faculty, innovation culture.
Department is very supportive and understanding.
All teachers are very good and they teaches very well.

Dislikes

Management is very bad and always blames students for any problems.
Fee structure is very costly and unfordable for normal public.
There is no coordination between student management and even they do harassment to them .

Placement Experience:

8th sem students are eligible for campus placement, Microsoft tcs Atlassian and Qualcomm are the companies that come for placement they recruit 10-15 sones then 20-30 each no idea about avg package but the highest is 60 Lakh by Atlassian, and Microsoft is 50lakh.

BIT would be a good choice.

Likes

Campus Life, Course Curriculum, Sports and Gym, Clubs and Societies
Tech fests such as BITOTSAV, PANTHEON, DATA SCIENCE SUMMIT.
Support from professors and seniors, and guidance from Training and Placement cell of college.

Dislikes

Room sharing problem in hostels, if you are a fresher, ready to get paired up with a buddy.
Proximity of hostel from the college, which is around 2km

Placement Experience:

Students, after the 5th semester, can apply for internships and after the 6th-7th semester can apply for in-campus or off-campus job drives. 104 Companies such as Adrosonic, Wipro, Microsoft, TCS, etc. come every year to hire a huge bunch of students. Highest package offered was 16 lakhs And the average package was around 6 lakhs. Percentage of student who got placed in companies was around ~ 80% My plan after getting the degree is to apply for a position of Data Scientist in a good MNC.

BIT Mesra -The perfect place to spend 4 years.

Likes

Campus size and feel and the environment it gives.
The peer group and faculty . The infrastructure is also very good
The placements are decent and we'll above average

Dislikes

The course structure is a bit old and the mess food is hard to eat .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I got into is BTech in Ece. The course structure is strict in inculcating the basic of eee in the first year itself. The student-faculty ratio is above average for this college at around 1:20.Exams are moderate.
