Course Curriculum Overview

It was the best option for me to choose according to my rank and the best option according to my available choices. The faculty-student ratio is good. Each student is provided with an advisor. The professors here are well qualified

Top companies offer roles such as a consultant or software developer during internships. Companies such as Microsoft, sprinkle, and Accenture hire interns for various roles. For the mechanical department Mercedes have also hired interns from our college

Students are given internship opportunities in 3rd year. Various companies such as Microsoft, sprinkler Accenture come here for placements .for ece there is 90 per cent placement. I would like to be placed after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here increase on a yearly basis. The college provides various scholarships for meritious students according to the cgpa they score each semester. We have a gp birla scholarship and many other govt scholarships.

Campus Life

Bitotsav is the annual fest of our college which is one of the largest events across the east. We have a huge library with many informational books and journals. The annual sports meet is also held in Feb

Hostel Facilities

We are provided hostels at the time of registration. For first yar we are provided with double sharing room having two beds one lan port a table and a chair.The food quality in mess can be said some time it is good

We have to write jee exam. We can apply for this exam through NTA official website. The reservation benefits can be availed during counselling. You have to provide your caste certificate during counselling

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More

Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
