I feel so proud to be here and the faculty are just superb and awesome.
Thd placement in my college is pretty good in my branch the average package is ruppees 2500000 per annum many of big companies like microsoft, atlasian, amazon, google, wipro etc visits here for giving good placements
Even if bit mesra is a gift but still the fee structure is slightly more than other gifts on the other hand category scholarship, state scholarships and merit cum scholarships are also there for good and bright students.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is very bad they are very rude they don't listen to anyone else.
The mess fees quality is very bad and students prefer to eat outside
Some faculty members are very educated and experienced but some of them have absolutely no knowledge they have just got the degree are just there to disturb students.

The BIT Mesra Story

Likes

The Beautiful Lush Green Campus, the Greenery, trees, forest.
Sports Complex which has almost every sports arena.
The food Outlets, the quality and price.

Dislikes

The Management Body of BIT Mesra often makes things Complicated.
The loss of independence for Girls due to certain rules and regulations.

Placement Experience:

The Placement record of BIT Mesra is quite satisfying. Many Big Companies like Sprinklr come here and offer high packages to the students. It gave offers to around 15 Students. average 90% of Students are Placed every year.

BIT MESRA:A 'Roller Coaster' Ride of higher learning

Likes

The Campus have all accessibility from restaurants to cycle sellers.
The campus is lush green and also very beautiful .
Campus is very big and we have various places to explore.

Dislikes

Some professors don't explain things clearly.
We aren't provided with any laundry facilities even after every expensive hostel cost.
Library doesn't have any AC installed , also college wifi is very slow.

Placement Experience:

The Students are eligible for campus placement for the 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus, to name a few, SAMSUNG, Exide, Airtel, etc. The Highest package offered was 51 lakhs per annum, by Microsoft, and 52 lakhs per annum, offered by CRED . The average package is 14.75 lakhs per annum, and company data is not revealed. In total 78% of students got placed. I am planning to appear for GATE after the degree.

A breif review of BIT MESRA

Its one of the most beautiful campus and my peer group and the friends you will make for the rest of your 4 years it is sonething to be excited about .
Faculty is also decent but there who doesn't help students at all and yeah academica is hard in this college so if u dont study properly you probably might get a backlog in a particular subject
Last but not the least the plackage out here is very good you just have to maintain your cgpa you will get your placement.

Dislikes

The things i disliked is the administration of this college its very bad tehy just dont listen to u at all and they font give that much of independence to students kikin other colleges
The hostel food after some time is unbearable you wont like it.
I'll probably say the college is in outskirts the development of the campus area could've been much better than we expected

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester the students are eligible to sit for the campus placement so the companies that visited are Atlassian, amazon, and many other good companies the highest package offered is 8 lis 5akh by Microsoft and the average package for cse is 19 lakh and the average package of overall college is 10 lakh m. More than 85% of students get placed in this college.

Is BIT mesra worth it?

Campus size is really big with around 780+ acres size

Dislikes

The sex ratio here is low as there is no female quota here

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. A lot of companies visit the campus including almost every main or popular company. The highest package last year was 58 lpa given to 3 students with the average package of all branches being around 13 lpa. Overall around 70% of students get placed with 90%+ placed in the CSE branch.

Likes

Campus: A mighty big campus full of greenery and charm
Hostel: Hostel is cheaper, rooms are alloted to single single persons
Faculty: Very helpful professors, and they can guide you through on through

Dislikes

Administration: Very strict policies, and not handy and helpful at all
Study culture: A strict policy of maintaining 75 percent attendance is burden to students
Library: the library services are not open for 24 hours

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is being offered to every students in their pre final semester, almost 70-80 percent students are placed from campus, many got opportunities from off campus and also some got referrals from alumni

BIT and Production at a glance

Likes

medical treatement is free for most of the diseases
air quality is very good and you will feel refreshed most of the time
entire year rain is there but not that much which makes a soothing enviornment

Dislikes

No financial aid for clubs and societies

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year internship starts and placement are done mostly in the final year highest package I remember was 19 lakh (not sure) 92% placement was recorded as per last year stats which is the highest in any branch

I choose this course just because I thought it was an alternative to MBBS and I choose this college because it is a well-reputed college in my state and the exposure it gives to its student is compared to IIT.

BIT mesra -a college ideal

Likes

The faculty present here is very supportive and encouraging towards their students.
The lush green 600 acres campus makes our living experience more enjoyable and comfortable.
BIT mesra support and funds startups which is a very good initiative.

Dislikes

The fee plan is increasing per year which is making this college a little more expensive.

Placement Experience:

The students here become eligible for placements in their second last semester and for internships in their 5th semester. Companies like Microsoft, trilogy amazon, and jp morgan comes here and pick out a bunch of students for both internships and placements. the highest package offered is 85lpa and the lowest is 10lpa. 70 per cent of students get placed here. The other 30 per cent either goes into other sectors or opt for govt job or startups. I plan to study further in the business sector.

Basically, I am the kind of person dedicated to building and going for the design field. senior faculty are amazing and have good experience and technical skills which are very beneficial. For the design process, we generally get from faculty and also little competition is generated which is beneficial. talking about placement we generally get the link that are used, senior and faculty help to get placement and internship too

Likes

Mess food at girls hostel is very good and hygienic.
It has got lush green campus with loads and loads of landscape.
All the classroom and hostel rooms are cleaned almost everyday.

Dislikes

The professors of ece department hardly give marks
The schedule is very hectic and the events are very rare.

Placement Experience:

We have a good placement here at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. For the computer system branch and its branch, they have got ample numbers of companies coming for placement. We also have companies coming for various other branches too.
