Remarks

Admission was based on jee percentile, rest all forms to be filled were on website itself, i want the registration part to be more online based rather than online. In the registration, most of the process was easy.

I am interested in mechanical engineering. A lot of faculty members are the with excellent teaching experience of a lot of years. The teaching method is offline and is made well nderstood the children

Internships Opportunities

My college provides internships in a lot of top companies like Microsoft, amazon, and so on a lot of tech and non tech companies. It send our some of the students abroad to acoomolish their dream projects for internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The price to make the study available to all the children even if it is for children with different categories, be it general, obc, SC or st, etc. Considering, it is deemed to be a university college the study price is quite reasonable. Since this is my first year in college, I have not received any scholarship or financial assistance.

Campus Life

The events Life Pantheon and Bitotsav are large-scale events that take place in October and march respectively. The library here is huge, with a lot of space to go and study in silence and access a lot of books, our library is alsova digital library. The chairs in class are comfortable, fully AC-ventilated, and equipped with a projector and whiteboard. Our college has a huge sports complex which features all the sports that one can name with pro-grade coaching, also there is an AC gym for all. A lot of clubs of all activities are formed and students depend on the ERP website for most of their work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
