Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is fantastic, they have a schedule for you to study but along with it, there is sufficient time for you to engage in club activities. There are approximately 33 active college clubs and societies. The facilities are fantastic as well.

Internships Opportunities

There is fantastic internship opportunities you can avail as the professors here and also authorities have very good contacts and they'll help you, guide you to get an internship of your choice and at your preferred industry/company.

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for placements from 3rd year itself, and the placement here is really good with an excellent record of getting higher percentage of students placed in good firms and industries.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around the same as i mentioned earlier. This might be higher for some economically weaker students, but there is GP BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP that is given each semester to various meritorious students as well as economically weaker students depending upon their performance upon their SGPA score. And there are very high chances that you'll get the scholarship if you perform well in academics. There are various other scholarships as well which you can apply, though they might be from other sources, but they are even good.

Campus Life

The life here on campus is amazing. The campus is evergreen throughout the year giving you a perfect vibe to chillax as well as a perfect study environment also this college sufficiently provides an excellent environment for you to excel in whatever you're interested in. There are many clubs and societies approximately around 33 active clubs which will definitely cater to your needs. And there is world-class classrooms and library facilities.

Admission

The admission process is through JEE Main, and the counseling processes josaa and csab. The expected cut-off for Mechanical Engineering starts from 56000 rank for General students and goes up to 72-76k and may vary from time to time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

BIT Mesra is mesmerizing!!

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

According to my perspective or point of view students initiate preparing for placement cells in 3rd year ( 5th semester). The highest package of our college is 14 LPA And average package is 3.4 LPA. Approx 72 %students got placed in different different companies like tcs, wipro, accenture etc.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra for our departments many cpre companies like Tatva Chintan, Laxmi Organics and Kanoria Chemicals were among some listed companies that came for placements. Luckily we are less in numbers and therefore 90% students from our batch were placed from here. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters from US.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
