BIT mesra -a college ideal

I chose this course as I was interested in this course and the faculty here is also very knowledgeable and supportive in my branch. There are almost more than 20 professors and assistant professors in each branch making the ratio of student to faculty fairly nice. All the faculty here are highly qualified professionals in their subjects. There is basically one mid-semester exam and 2 quizzes ppus ome end semester examination along with an assignment in each subject in a semester. You need to study hard for exams else you would fail.

Companies like microsoft tcs Salesforce come to campus to recruit students for internship roles and offer a decent salary for that. Projects and research are also one of the main features here. Students can easily choose to become part of all of it and the institution even funds it on their behalf. Many student projects and research projects are led here.

The students here become eligible for placements in their second last semester and for internships in their 5th semester. Companies like Microsoft, trilogy amazon, and jp morgan comes here and pick out a bunch of students for both internships and placements. the highest package offered is 85lpa and the lowest is 10lpa. 70 per cent of students get placed here. The other 30 per cent either goes into other sectors or opt for govt job or startups. I plan to study further in the business sector.

The fee here for a bachelor in engineering is almost about 4 lacs per year. The academic fees are increasing per year as the seats are also increasing. They are a no. Of scholarships and financial help, you can get from the college itself. One of them is the gp birla scholarship which deducts your fees accordingly as per your merit. The annual cultural fest known as bitotsav is held in February and the annual tech fest Pantheon is held in October every year. These are celebrated on a very wide scale. Students from different campuses and celebrities also come in these fests making it more attractive and fun. Classrooms are provided with AC and smart projectors in order to make the concept and teaching easier. Sports are promoted to a very high extent in BIT Mesra. The college itself organises many sports competitions. We also have a 25-acre sports complex which contains a range of sports facilities for the students and faculty. Just like in every college the presence of clubs and societies is an integral part of the entire life here. There is a club for every hobby of yours, just name it and get that. Every club has its own website and student body.

The admission takes place via jee mains result in csab and josaa. You have to apply for this college from jee mains result. The college has 50 per cent reserved seats for students of the home state that is Jharkhand along with seats for other reserved categories.
