  • We have a dissertation period that allows us to independently conduct research on a topic of interest under the supervision of a professor.
  • The program has partnerships with many leading organizations that actively recruit students for internships and employment.
  • Opportunities are something someone has to look for themselves. There are too many placement prospects in the UK, but the reality is to have a great networking.

  • The university is spread throughout the beautiful city of Edinburgh, and the School of Informatics has access to the best facilities available on campus.
  • The accommodation provided by the UOE is really great, with excellent facilities included, such as a kitchen and a studio apartment.
  • It was great because he was one of the core team members who created the language.

Location is great as I now am in an English speaking environment studying English and Linguistics, Rating is also important as it marks high for both the quality of the university and my course which in itself ranks top in the world.

Its the place where all the variables that factored into my decision making process, met in harmony. It's a very well established university. Mental health is a priority in the country, state, city and the university. There was a rather unique collection of counselling/psychology/mental health related programs. The staff in the MSc Counselling Studies program is extremely helpful. The area is a good mix of city life with a lot of natural surroundings.

Apart from being a highly reputed and ranked among top 20 in the world, an attractive factor was the location of university. Edinburgh is one of most scenic cities and the environment / culture is very friendly at the university.

University of Edinburgh is highly reputed for CS, Artificial Intelligence and Medicine. Since my program lies at the intersection of the three, UoE was the perfect choice. According to https://csrankings.org/ University of Edinburgh is the highest ranked university in UK for AI research.

I got the acceptance from Glasgow University, Southampton University but what made me chose Edinburgh was the love for the city as well as the ranking of the University. Edinburgh stands 18th in the world (later moved to 16th) The climate of the city is chilly and rainy and apt for me. The course contents and the labs were really good.
