Master of Science [M.Sc] [Statistics with Data Science] From University of Edinburgh

Academic Eligibility:

• Applicants have a UK 2:1 degree, or its international equivalent in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, physical or biological sciences, economics, or business.
• Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Or, completed a B.Sc (General) degree from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

Graduates will have a deep knowledge of the underlying statistical principles coupled with practical experience of implementing the statistical techniques using standard software across a range of application areas, ensuring they are ideally placed for a range of different job opportunities.

The degree is also excellent preparation for further study in statistics or data science. Students have gone on to study their PhDs at highly-ranked universities including Oxford and Edinburgh.
