The campus,the cafe👀,the food trucks the canteen everything the teachers
Here we have so many things to explore starting from food
You can really spend the whole day here .

Dislikes

May be sometimes I don't like the Chaos.
I don't like bad people over here but don't worry good people are more
There's nothing more in disliked category but yes the cafes food is a bit expensive but that's tasty so once in a month is ok

Course Curriculum Overview

This is going to be the best course as you are going to get a job so quick you just have to be true to yourself. May be faculties can take more interractive session for better understanding its a good idea

Per sem 83k in 4 years it is around 7 lakhs its really good university you can take admission as it is really well known university here all big companies come for placement and all.you are going to love the nature of the teachers they are going to help you in every condition

Campus Life

Campus life is the best one so far here you'll get so many options to hangout with friends or partner there is a canteen a cafe some food trucks a widerrrr campus and it also have a basketball court so am sure you will love it too

Admission

I don't know ehy i choose this college but I really liked the look of it and when i saw the placement rates its kinda pulled me towards itself and I got admission. I got many opportunities from other colleges too but i wanted to be here

Faculty

Faculties are really really impressive, there are some teachers you are gonna love for years there are so many labs you will get some interesting subjects in your boring core subjects. moreover you can take help from seniors too.

Interview Experience

Yes there happens group discussions and its really good to be there in group discussions as you learn many things.written test also occurs but till now I've not been to interviews it will happen during the placement

Night Life

Sorry i never been there at night but in evening for sure mycollege looks sooo good in evening it is decorated with lights and it looks like a magic thats happening in our life.the campus looks so beautiful

The last few years placement is better. The placement is around 80%. From the final year, the students are allowed to sit in placement drive. The placement begins in Aug-Sept and it goes upto April - May. The number of campany visited in the last year is 80+ and around 400+ students got placed in our department. Now comes to my plans, I want to work in a core reputed organization in which I can grow my future career and learns from senior professionals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to go for a field having Biology in it. Thus biology and tech made a good option for me. MY course incuded much more than Biotech. It had French, Pscycology, environmnet sci, Marketing and also a lot of sports imnvolved. There were 2 semesters per year. The teaching methods are quite good along with modern tech. Labs were well equiped and also propoer dress code was maobted during pracyical lessons.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
