Likes

Our college has various extracurricular activities and clubs for supporting talents of the students.
The students along with the faculties have engineered WESAT, First women engineered satellite. We are a women only college
Lab facilities and Academic support are provided properly.

Dislikes

College campus is small so areas are limited for development.
Ground space is less in college which leads to limitation in supporting sports activities.
Lifts breakdown frequently which cause difficulty for the students and faculties

Course Curriculum Overview

The well structured curriculum helps students for the tech world within 4 years. Two series exams are there lasting 1.5 hours each ina semester. Total there are 8 semesters. Series exams helps students to prepare thoroughly for the university exam.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement opportunties offered by our college is good. We do have offers from many MNCs. TCS, IBM , Visteon, Infosys are some of them. There is a basic pacakage of 3 lakhs per annum. It helps the students to get a good salary. Perecentage of studnets getting places is 75%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee per semester is 35000. Additional charges apply for ID card, Sports fee, Club fees, and Exam fees. The college offers financial assistance along with various government scholarships, E-grantz , Club scholarships and PTA scholarships.

Campus Life

My overall experience in campus was really good. Our college has avrious clubs like IEEE, GDSC etc for technical ones as well as Ramp Rebels, Chackrews , Bodhi club etc for the non technical ones. Lab facilties and classrooms are good. We have a central library. Yagna Dhruva, Yavanika etc are some of the fests conducted.

Admission

I chose this college as it offers good placement opportunities compared to other colleges, also I got merit admission in the college. Comparing parameters our college offers better placements, academic facilities, good faculties etc. The admission process for merit includes writing keam registering for the college and once allocated we could visit the college and compelete the admission

Faculty

The faculties are highly apporchable and experienced. But the number of faculties are less. A session is weekly scheduled with the staff advicer to discuss about the difficulties and probelms that we face. We have series exam twice in a semester as well as a university exam . We also have lab exams as same.

Night Life

Teh college do have a gym in its hostel which is not accessibel to day scholars. Canteens and Libraries are only open till 5:00 PM. Hostel closes at 8:00 PM. We do have a canteen and a juice bar and a store in the college. College night lifes are best at time of fests.

From S3 we start to get placement training but S3 training is just a small training the tell you the basics and everything but from s5 the campus placement training, they take it seriously and the percentage of students getting placement is low. But because the college is autonomous they say the autonomous batch will have a 50% placement

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Replacement process at Amrutha amruthapuri has a strong reputation especially in technology related feels like cyber security ,computer science ,and information technology. Students typically become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester .however the placement team encourages students to start preparing from the second year onwards by improving skills and participating in internships ,hackathons and coding competitions to improve their profiles Companies that visited for placements. 1. AMAZON 2. ACCENTURE 3. COGNIZANT 4. INFOSYS 5. WIPRO 6. CISCO 7. IBM 8. TECH MAHINDRA 9. SAMSUNG R&D 10. TCS Still more Highest salary package of cyber security graduate at at amruthapuri is typically around 15 to 25 lacs per annum for roles in global tech chain such as Amazon, Cisco. Average package for cyber security students is generally around 6 to 10 lpa this includes roll such as cyber security engineer, security analysit, and network security specialist. For entry level rolls the starting salary maybe around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum however with more experience and skills salary grows.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

Reality of College life

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation .
