L.B.S College of Engineering, Kasaragod was came into existence in 1993. Affiliated to Kannur University, it offers several technical courses at undergraduate level, along with post graduate program in computer applications. Our college have good placements, from sixth semester, companies will come for placements companies like infosys, tcl, tvs etc.
The faculties are very well qualified for the teaching they are also very friendly and helping minded they helps us in every way possible they very well works for the good of students faculties are selected through interviews
The canteen has some a very good menu, you can enjoy lunch with nice food

Dislikes

I don't like the faculties they are very selfish
the food in the canteen is not good. some buildings in this college is very old so there is no modern facilities.
Hostel facilities are not upto the mark especially the hostel food is not that great

Every engineering college I have applied but I love this college because in this college every department are accredited by NBA very few colleges are accredited ever department. Admission process was very cool . First write keam exam then if you get this college you can come hear and confirm the seat by paying first year fees. The process is very easy.

College celebration : Best in malabar. Functions in here are the best. DJ, concerts are allowed here .

People living outside the campus is not very nice
College is on hilltop so heat from the sun is unbearbale

Admission:

This college provided best placement for the time. Compared to other colleges, this was the best in the north Kerala at the time. Things have changed now though. Placement then was about 98% for CS. Now its about 30%

The distance between different blocks of the college is too long

For admission you need to pass KEAM entrance exam and it consists of two papers and you need to achieve 10 marks for each paper inorder to qualify. And you need to submit the allotment details, once the allotment published you can take admission

The college has a very good infrastructure
LBS College of engineering has the best infrastructure in the region. It has been a very prestigious institution.

The college is situated, not very near the road

The eligibility for btech is plustwo with biology or computer science with maths you can apply via the keam entrance examination for the merit quota and leftover seats are alloted to the management quota

College has a good campus During monsoons it is very beatifull

To get admission you should study 10+2 with PCM.After that you can apply for the kerala entrance examination and if you come under 50 k ranklist you can get admission to the course You can also get admission to the remaining seats through management quota or NRI quota You can get fee waivers if get high scores in the entrance exams You can apply through the college Site

Main thing i disliked in college is walking

Every student should pass +2 science. And after that, there will be an entrance exam in kerala it is called keam the passing mark for keam is 20 this entrance exam is little tough to get a high mark it is very easy to pass. The admission process is very slow it takes more time

the college have a large campus(about 60 acre). that includes 4 hostels(3 men's hostel and a girls hostel).
the college provide many placement oppurtunities. many students are placed in good packages.the college have good infrastructure.
the college provide many oppurtunities for extra curriccular activities . personally i joined in hand ball camp.

Dislikes

during summer days there is so hot in college. lack of smart classrooms and projectors in some classes. the college have no accredictions
the food in the canteen is not good. some buildings in this college is very old so there is no modern facilities.

to take admmision you need to pass the kerala engineering and medical entrance test (KEAM). also you can take admission in managment quota without keam . the application is can be done through CEE portal and you can take admission to managment quota through online or directly coming in to college.

The student must be clear plus two with almost good grades and write entrance exam well.Kerala Entrance exam score is the basis of admission. The ambience of the college is pretty nice, you can study in harmony with nature
The college consists of a whopping 52 acres, which is pretty huge and explorable

Dislikes

The college has pretty average infrastructure
The college lacks basic needs in some buildings
since the college has a huge area, sometimes you have to walk long to get to lab or other places

Admission:

For CSE you need to have around 20K keam rank to join, or you can join management depending on your ranks. you can find the fee and dates and all on the college site depending on your cast, there are reservations. if you have come prepared with the given certificates on the site or announced by keam, you can get admission pretty seamlessly
