My college

I opted Btech Computer Science in our college and for the course as per tilldate it is a quite competitive department to persue and the exams are about a kind of difficult level and we sometimes find some kind of difficult ness writing our exams but if we are consistent and do our studies on time we could easily get above average marks on our exams. About Computer science course I think we can persue many jobs like software development , data science , artificial intelligence , and cybersecurity only if we are into it and also our hardwork matters everywhere.Our ushual time for an exam is 2 and a half hours and that is almost enough if we have prepared well and we won't be getting enough time to rethink and write we have only writing time we should be well prepared . And also we need more skill based activities and tasks included along with the busy schedule to upgrade our skills .

Our college offers us many internships from our first year itself to make us better for the future. We had a 40 day computer hardware and networking internship for 1st year students , and we had hands on experiences and it covered essential knowledge about computer hardware and networking . And also our college ties up with various companies for internships and placements . Our college takes us to many programs where we can showcase our talents and compete with students from other colleges . Theses makes us get experience in coding testing and project management

My college has established a strong reputation for its campus placement performance and I can't know more about the placement details because I'm a first year student but the students become eligible to part5in the campus placement from the starting of seventh semester . I have heard that a lot of companies like around 50 visits our college to select our students . Many noticable companies like Infosys , Microsoft , Target , Amazon etc visits our college and recruit our talents . Our highest package till date is 17 lakhs per annum and an average package is 4 lakhs per anum . Around 90% of students get placed every year . And after college I would like to continue my studies and also would workhard to get placed in a company and prepare for competitive exams and more .

Hi I am a first year student nd I got into this btech computer science course through a merit full fee seat . For management seat I totally paid 81,570 at the time of admission which includes admission fee ,tuition fee per year , special fee , caution deposit , establishment charge , ktu registration fee , ktu examination fee (1 and 2 semester ) , ktu arts and sports fee and ktu students affiliation fee .Other than this I have paid 10,000 in the CEE portal . The fee structure of a merit full fee is ADMISSION FEE : 1000, TUITION FEE : 75,000(PER YR) , SPECIAL FEE : 1400 , CAUTION DEPOSIT : 5000 , ESTABLISHMENT CHARGE : 1500 , KTU REGISTRATION FEE : 1050 , KTU EXAMINATION FEE ( 1 AND 2 SEMESTER ) : 5300 , KTU ARTS AND SPORTS FEE : 530 , KTU STUDENTS AFFILIATION FEE : 790 and like that the total is 81,570 rs . For merit seat there is a total of 51,570 excluding the Fee paid at CEE portal that is 10000 rs . Their fee structure include ADMISSION FEE : 1000 , TUITION FEE : 45,000(PER YR ) , SPECIAL FEE : 1400 , CAUTION DEPOSIT : 5000 , ESTABLISHMENT CHARGE : 1500 , KTU REGISTRATION FEE : 1050 , KTU EXAMINATION FEE ( 1 AND 2 SEMESTER ) : 5300 , KTU ARTS AND SPORTS FEE : 530 , KTU STUDENTS AFFILIATION FEE : 790 . And also for SC/ST/OEC there is fee concession and only a total of 5000 which is caution deposit is only to be paid for whole 4 years ,for them it is a free course LASTLY for FW there is only 16,570 for whole four years that includes no tuition fee but ADMISSION FEE : 1000 , SPECIAL FEE : 1400 , CAUTION DEPOSIT : 5000 , ESTABLISHMENT CHARGE: 1500 , KTU REGISTERATION FEE : 1050 , KTU EXAMINATION FEE : 5300 , KRU ARTS AND SPORTS FEE : 530 , KTU STUDENTS AFFILIATION FEE : 790 .This is the fee atructure of LBS Institute of Technology for Women Poojapura Tvm Btech Computer Science course .

There are various annual and technical fests conducted in our college both in a smallscale and a large scale Mainly prayaag a two day fest is conducted every year for students from every colleges to engage in workshops and competitions conducted by our students . It is mainly conducted around the month of September every year and also they might be proshows at night conducted by famous bands and singers . Yagna druva is another three day cultural and technical fest that includes both cultural and technical programs for 3 days . The college is having a vast library and it is so awsome that we can sit and study peacefully anytime and nobody disturbs us and we have all the resourses in there . There is a sportsday conducted every year to boost our talents which is outof the syllabus and to encourage our participation we get ktu activity points as rewards . About the club's there are various clubs in our college to increase our skill based knowledge and all of them controlled by our seniors and we are able to join without any hesitation and we get to socialise easiiy through the activities of the club.

My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation . It is not a fully government college but government supervisioned one . I opted this college because it has ranked 4th in ktu btech results and 2nd in Trivandrum and also as it is a women college there is more opportunities for women in engineering for showing their skills and talents without being dominated by others . There is 100 % placements in this college .

In our Colege there is both Btech and Mtech and for btech we have Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Computer engineering, and Information technology and for Mtech we have Mtech in CS and Mtech in SP .The faculties the faculties here are so supportive and they try their maximum best to make us perfect in our studies . They implement all they know to make us better in our studies . About the exams , for a semester we have 2 series exam and a university exam every 6 months .The exams are from moderate to difficult level and the university exam may sometimes put very difficult question paper

There is a vast library which makes us available to get attached to reading in peace environment and we have almost every book reference that we need to deepstudy our topics and also get ready for our examinations . There is no much facilities for gym but there are a few equipments in hostel for a warmup .Hostelers are staying in the hostel inside the campus which makes them easy to access classes as they are nearby . There is a canteen inside the campus for students where we get the needed snacks and lunch everyday with reasonable price , and we also have an additional store where we get enough stationary items so that we can get every stationary things from inside the college itself . There might be cinemas played for Hostelers at night some days and also movie night to theatres are planned for all students at night where we get to enjoy films with our friends .
