A DEEP DIVE INTO LBSITW POOJAPPURA,TVM

As per 2024 scheme our curriculum gives more importance to skill developement, they provide many competions and internship programmes that will allow you to develop your skill which we need after our graduation. As our college is a technical college and the world is developing more trchnologies this curriculum is very good one.

There are paid internships conducted by faculty members within the college, providing students with hands-on experience in various fields. Additionally, companies that visit for placements also offer internship opportunities to students

Our college provides good placement opportunities to companies like IBM, infosys etc.. Average package is 4 lpa and highest package is 13 lpa almost every students sre getting placed here.. I don't know the exact percentage. After graduation my plan is to get into a company through campus placement, if not through other methods i will enter into a job and after working for two yrs for experience i will pursue higher studies.

Academic wise the campus life is good. Thr college conducts a 2 day techfest called prayaag, 3 day cultural and tech fest called yagna druva and 2 day arts festival yavnika and lots of fun programes for festivals. Library provides a lot of books. Our college provide lots of extracurricular activities. There are many clubs both thechnical and nontechnical technical clubs (robotics, foss club...)for developing skills and nontechnical clubs to gollow passion (fashion club, dance club, kpop, capture crew..). Through this clubs and programmes we get more chance to interact and adapt to social environments develop communication skill etc..

Hostel is actually good. The quality of food is good and mess bill and acvomodation is affordable its almost 5000 per month. Since hostel is in college campus its easy to reach college. Hostel provides lab facility and wifi facility study hall everything.

I choose this college because ther are about 140 something college under our university and my college ranks 4th position. This college provides very good environment for studies and through this college I can get more exposure to technichal world a very important aspect. This college accepts students through keam entrance examination. For merit seats a very good rank is required depends upon courses (for cse its under 12k as per 2024 cutoffs it will increse in the coming yrs). There is diploma courses also

There are enough faculties in our college.Faculties are approachable and they are friendly and they are always ready to solve our problem. My favourite faculties are deepthi chandran and gisha they both are very responsible and always give the care of a mom as a hosteller i get that love of mom and a teacher and there are no specific trachers i don't like. Our college conduct 2 internals and one university exam in each semester and exams were in a moderate level. Our course structure is 4yrs 8 semesters

The hostel has strict timings, requiring students to return by 7 PM. This can be quite restrictive, as college ends at 4:30 PM, leaving little time to go elsewhere. The college curfew is toomuch its like a boarding school
