Course Curriculum Overview

I'm pursuing btech computer science in Lbs college. This is a womens college. The way of planing the supply exam and result of revaluation is not good. Teaching and class sections are good. Difficulty level of exam is ok.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 65 k for the management seat, Including caution deposit. It is not a huge fees I guess because college provide good placement opportunities and pass percentage.I don't have scholarships or financial aid.

Campus Life

Prayaad and Yagnadruva are two of the famous technical festival which I know. Library is the bestvplace where we can study in this whole college. After comung to this college our first Sports fest was few days back. Ir was good

Admission

In allotment process my first 7 options were LBS with different branch because my parents really need to get admission in this college and I think they were happy when i get admission in this college.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is good as I expect. Their approach were also good. Exams are difficult to me as I become very nervous, get tensed and I think I will affect my confidence and exam. But I believe I can overcome it

Night Life

Our favorite spot is Azzez restaurant near our college. We don't go often because of lack of the money. I am a Dayscholar not living in hostel where I am living few kilometers far. I actually never tried to roam around at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. My college LBSITW is a government controlled self financing engineering college . It is managed and controlled by LBS centre for science and technology , a government organisation . I choose this college because ther are about 140 something college under our university and my college ranks 4th position. This college provides very good environment for studies and through this college I can get more exposure to technichal world a very important aspect.
