Likes

Teachers and faculty are very good and responsible .Students are more communicative
Programmes are good.Even if with lower budget they try do it
Hackathons,workshops and programmes are really good and seniors mentor us nicely

Dislikes

Attendance is always compulsory..even for health issues attendance is a crisis

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science more relatively focuses on technical side and I hve a intrest for studying about computer side. The hackathons relay on real life problems and we could get a insight on how can we use coding in real life. The areas is that other department teachers are given the job to teacher other subjects.Time is given for exams but need little more as portions are much higher

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have management seat here thus my fees is high and it's is 63000.registration fees are 1050 , admission fees is 1000,caution deposit is 5000. For my friends who got merit seat fees is lesser ..tution fees is 45000 but exam fees is same. for sc st it's much lesser and for fw no tution fees is paid .

Campus Life

Some many clubs are available in our college.Basically all club focus on tech field ,designing by UI UX team..there is Mu learn..IEDC which is in association with all india iedc team .Sports meet was conducted last Sunday and the competition was tough ..it was so competitive ..Overall co circular activites are managed well

Admission

As the only women's engineering college in Kerala ..I was really admired to study in this college. I got a grateful opportunity to study with students who got higher grade than mine . I got admission in private college bt I think this is far more better. I attended keam and was eligible for engineering ...and I wanted to pursue cs only.

Faculty

Faculty is strict bt also friendly in a good manner.Not so lavish so that to control students this out college got good cgpa.Environment is good .Our university has modulised syllabus and got accreditation.Series exams are conducted by college and corrected by our respective teachers...then comes sem exam .

Night Life

I am a dayscholar...so I leave college by 4:15 ..so I'm another sure abt night life bt according to hostel students ...night life is completly fine and due to poojapura jail safety by police us assured

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of KTU (Kerala Techinical university) is very tough ,outdated system,teaching method is very wrong, old method are using here, semester time period is short, student can't catch their subject on this time period, 6 subject with 12 module or more complete in 2.5 months after this immediatly exam starts,so need more time interval for learning and add more partical based activities in curriculum, theriocal subject is more compare to partical,student are just by heart some portion and attenting exam, so they don't know partical working of machines

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. My 1st priority was this college and I've successfully achieved that. I've chosen this college mainly as it's near my home town and this college have 3rd position over Kerala for pass result percentage. I have never got rejection from any college as this college was my first priority. For admission process the students must wants to clear keam exam and those who got higher rank will get the seats. Other than keam exams NRI seat and spot admission are there as a few number. Cut off can vary every year depends on the number of students and their ranks....Read More

I choose this college because ther are about 140 something college under our university and my college ranks 4th position. This college provides very good environment for studies and through this college I can get more exposure to technichal world a very important aspect.
