Not good enough

It's good if you're from Delhi. You'll gel with likeminded people. But if you're from some other town u might have a hard time understanding people and their perception. But now with a girl's hostel in the college i think the crowd will change. More people fromdifferent parts of the country will study in the college making the experience a bit better.

Bcom hons is a good course in DU. The course is wide and u get to study everything that u should know of as a commerce student. The exam structure is also fine and although it's quite old, it stands the test of time.

Placements were generally pathetic as compared to other top colleges. There were no internship oppurtunities during my time. Now they do have started summer internships. But still the packages provided by companies are very less.

The college has an annual fest which is quite awful. Some lame Punjabi singer comes and you wonder whether they're even a celeb. The other societies also have their fests in which there are some interesting games and competitions.

The fee structure is expensive as compared to other colleges of DU but the college also boasts of one of the best infrastructure in DU so no complaints there. The fee is still minimal as compared to private colleges

I think there's some scholarship awarded for best performance or something like that on annual day. Not very sure of it. But except that i don't think any other scholarship is available. (The fee is very low).

Sports grounds are one of the best. Truly outstanding. Even the labs are good and airconditionded. Extra curricular activities are generally good, there's a club/society for everyone. A lot of competitions throughout the year. So it's good.

To be honest i haven't used the alumni network till now so not sure of it but some seniors were really helpful. I was in the cricket team so they helped me a lot to survive the first year of college. Still haven't found people like them.

I filled the online application of Du. Went to the college when i met the criteria of cut off, submitted some docs like 10th and 12th marksheets, id proof and fees. Got it signed from principal. And that's it

The faculty was generally well versed with the course and good. Although some faculties don't deserve to be where they are. But the majority were nice, helpful and kind. I think it has to be one of the plus points.
