Course Curriculum Overview

Not that great experience in as being student and I know others will agree also. The amount of tests and lab evaluation are a lot and there difficulty level is not predictable as sometimes it is very easy or very tough

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Tution fees - 240000 per year Hostel fees - 120000 per year Mess fees - 60000 per year Exam fees - 40000 per year Other fees - 158000 per year Overall total fees for each year approximately will be around 500000

Campus Life

The campus life is very good attendence is mandatory in some classes but not in every i.e. you don't need to attend lectures of every faculty some will tell you about attendance criteria and you have to go accordingly

Admission

As I was not getting any government college and in which I was getting a seat the course was not of my choice so I enrolled in this college as it is second best private college of India and also the admission process is quit easy

Faculty

There is 1 teacher per 140 student in one class for lecture but that class is then divided in sub groups of 20 to 30 students for labs The semester is divided into 2 main exams MST and EST and there are other assignments quizzes and lab evaluations for further evaluation

Night Life

There is no nightlife in thapar as in time for hostel is 8 30 pm therefore you need to get inside you hostels but still the security is good as security guards are always present in hostel and even outside

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking.
