Likes

Campus greenery,surroundings & freedom .
Every department has its own building and it's big.
Not that strict related to timings and will allow if your 5-10mins late.

Dislikes

Parking lot for scooters is very messy and not organized.
Facilities such as lifts and stuff aren't that great when there are multiple floors in a building
Classes could have been renovated to the current standards.

Course Curriculum Overview

Semiconductor related topics was interesting hence chose ECE. In upcoming 3-4years the semiconductor industry in India will grow exponentially hence ECE is the way to go. Some topics are really unnecessary and teaching could be done in more consistent and slowly in the start. 3 exams per semester .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships haven't started yet. They will start from 2nd year onwards. Have heard from seniors that internships are decent and if you need to get a good one you have to gain good knowledge in your field.

Fees and Financial Aid

4,20,000Rs per annum is the fees for management quota in DSCE. Management seat brings in extra donation of 2lakhs apart from the total tuitions fees.( For ECE ) For Comed K students it's 3,70,000Rs and for CET it's 1,00,000Rs. Scholarships are few but CET merit seat is the best option.

Campus Life

Campus is huge and we have many fests and clubs. Library is big and consists of all reference books and stuff. Classrooms have projectors and is well ventilated. Interbranch matches happen frequently in the college Many clubs related to dance, coding , art and many more.

Admission

PES,VIT,DSU and other colleges in Bangalore ( CET ), Got confirmed in PES ( electrical ) and VIT ( MECH ) I wanted ECE itself hence went for DSCE. Admission through CET,ComedK and management. CET 8k rank or below and COMEDK 18K and below.

Faculty

1:60 The faculties are decent, there are few teachers who care about our studies and genuinely help us clear our doubts Over 3/5 for faculties as some subject teachers aren't that great. Almost 1 sem is 4months and we have 3 internals basically every month we have a test which is hectic.

Night Life

Gym Is available and is located near the NRI hostel. The canteen here isn't the best and have average quality food only, not recommended to have daily as it's not that great. Hostel curfew is till 10pm. Rock garden is one famous place where friends hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Your Student Life @ DSCE Bengaluru

I secured 542 Rank in Karnataka PGCET entrance exam, Anyone who has completed UG course and have appeared for PGCET entrance exam is eligible to apply for MBA in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Bengaluru. The Admission process was very convenient and hassle free. The Adminstration staff were very helpful and co-operative. The seats have been reserved for Categories Quota where the backward classes students can be benefited according to the Rank they secure in PGCET Entrance exam. In MBA course we have 4 semesters Each Semester is usually completed in 4 months, and 3 internal assessment are held before the Semester Exams. The internal assessment will be usually held after the one month from start of the semester As the admission process is done with the help of internet, it is pretty much similar to creating an instagram account. The eligibility for the course is to pass in 12 th board exam, And you can join the college through latteral entry from 2nd year if you have taken diploma for the past 3 years. The reservation for this college through KCET exam is high for SC ST people, a bit less for 1A 1B, I GET REDUCED FROM 2A 2B , then lesser reservation for OBC and next for general caste, The dificulty level for the exam is Moderate to Hard, we can refer previous year papers for the exam....Read More
