My college life at RVCE

There are some courses which are not useful in your future but they will complete it in 1 to 2 weeks like yoga and ,fundamentals of Indian constitution . They are only one credit course. The teaching will be good but you have to study on your own as much as possible. Without your efforts how good the teaching be it is not useful. For studying there is good library with every book you want.

Our college provides internship opportunities but it is not for everyone don't depend on that. You have to search your own internships. Even though if college gives any internship it is only to practice but you won't get any stipend from it . Better to find the internships on your own. You can find internships in internshala and LinkedIn as well . Try to acquire more coding skills and good communication skills to get good internships and placements as well

Our college offers excellent placements. The average lpa for CSE is around 19 lpa. Since the 2025 placements are not uploaded , I will say 2024-25 placements. These are the placement records of our college. I can give a five star rating on placements of our college. Number of companies visited – 81 Number of offers made – 190 Number of students selected – 166 Average salary – 19.73 LPA Maximum salary – 67 LPA

The total fee structure of my college is 333270 for students who come through comedk . Firdos who come through kcet does have some Fee reimbursement meant by government . For them the college fee will be nearly 120000 . The hostel fee for this colleges 160000 per annum and it should be paid at a time not multiple payments. And also you can opt for PG if you do not want hostel. In hostel there is no non veg food only veg .

Our college is definitely good . every year they will conduct one major fest called 8th mile which days organised for 3 days. This is the best where people come from different colleges and different celebrities or singers come from different parts of India. We can enjoy a lot in this fest . There are lots of clubs you can join both technical or non technical. Daily there will be some event regarding any clubs. There is no limit on how many clubs you can join it depends on you. My recommendation is to join maximum 5 clubs so that you can concentrate on academic as well. there is one more part in my college called experiential learning(EL) for each semester where you have to think about an idea and implemented in real life. The EL marks are considered with equal priority to internal marks.

I came to this college through comedk . I got triple IT Lucknow but the interaction of that college is not as good as I saw from images in Google. RVCE is considered one of the top college in Bangalore . If you are financial condition is not good I won't recommend this college because the fees here is too high .I am paying around 5 lakh per annum with PG . If you stay in hostel it will be even more. This college is mainly focused on studies but rarely I see fests.

The faculty of this college are experienced and well knowledged. But this is not true with every teacher. Because some teacher explain the concept in deep and understandable way. But some teacher are there who will just work for money. If you get a good teacher then you are very fortunate . The faculty to student ratio is good. We feel that there are some subjects which are not useful but they are in the syllabus. The first year will be same as like the PU college. The syllabus will be same as PU , with the little depth.

At night times our college surroundings will be beautiful since it is in Bangalore. There is metro station available in front of our college. There are lots of restaurants hotels around my college. There are canteens and food courts also in our college . It is at the pattanagare metro station. You can enjoy the life here . You can go outside and chill at anytime.
