Course Curriculum Overview

4

There curriculum is very good . They teach you subjects such as professional communication in which they teach you about what the name says itself and they prepare you for various good communications by taking group discussion classes every week. There are very good labs for each and every subject they teach.

Internships Opportunities

4

The intership opportunities are also great in the college . Many companies offer internships in the college . So the college is good as they are able to call the companies for internships and they also offer PPO ( Pre placement offers).

Placement Experience

4

The placements of the college is also very good. Average placement of the college is approx 12 lakhs for Computer science and around 10 lakhs for Btech. The college invites numerous amount of companies which offer good packages . Every branch of the college gets good placement offers and companies come for almost all the branches

Fees and Financial Aid

The total tution fee for 4 years is 24 lakhs. This fees is for courses like COPC , COE and ENC. The total tution fee for other courses ranges from 18 lakhs to 21 lakhs. Scholarships are also available if you maintain a good CGPA. Merit cum need and merit scholarships are available.

Campus Life

4

This college is best if you want the best campus life . It is a very lush green campus. You have everything available in the campus . There is everything you name it to rat in the campus . The sports facilities of the college are just amazing . There is also swimming pool which is also maintained. There are gyms in the hostels . There are tons of clubs in the college . This college is best if you want a best campus and college life

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are good . The washrooms are maintained and are cleaned daily . The rooms are also good . I will suggest to go for ac rooms only as they are better . The food quality of the mess is good . They provide good options for meals. Also the laundry service is good . They also provide a small gym in the hostels

Admission

I applied in Jaypee Noida and got admission in JIIT sector 128 in IT Branch . I have studied there for 15 days but after then I switched to Thapar because in JIIT 128 , you have to travel each and every day from sector 62 to sector 128 as they only have hostels in there sector 62 campus . Also the sector 128 campus is too small it feels like you are in school . There is a strict compulsion of uniform in JIIT which completely gives you school vibes and you don't feel as if you are in college . It is more of a school . The mess and canteen of JIIT 128 is not good. They only have samosa , pasta and one two more food item . I chose Thapar over JIIT because of all these chaotic and terrible experience

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is super amazing . They are super cooperative and are always ready to support the students and take our doubts . The faculty to student ratio is also good. There are sessional exams before your mid terms . In engineering, you have exams every month only. In one month there will be your lab evaluations , group discussions , sessional tests . And the other month there would be your mid sem exams or end sem exams. The exams are moderately difficult and the checking is comparatively lineant.

Other Applied Colleges

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University - [JIIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Sector 128 is very bad as it is located in other part of the city and the campus is very small. Also there are no hostel facilities available in Jaypee sector 128 , you have to travel from sector 62 to sector 128

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
