The course that I chose is computer science and engineering which has lot of growth in the future and from the starting only I like this course because I was interested in computers from my childhood. The difficulty level of exams is very moderate sometimes they are very difficult and sometimes they are very easy

The companies which come here for internship purposes are JP Morgan , d shaw blackrock and many others. The projects that I did are food delivery app eCommerce website. The basic stipend for the internship is 50000

Placement Experience

I have decided that I if not get placement from this college I will go abroad to pursue my masters in this course and if I would get placed from this college I would work here for 2 years to gain some experience and then go to abroad for my masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees=2800000 Hostel fees=120000 per year Development fees=57000 Yes there are scholarship test available in our university which are based on the JEE merit and PCB word marks and the maximum that the internship can go is up to 3 lakh rupees

Campus Life

There are many societies in our university which are related to sports cultural fests coding and many other curricular activities . The main famous fests are Thapar food festival virsa and saturnalia. For our sports festival we have urja event

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for an hostel in this college . Are hostels have Ac accommodation as well as 24 hours electricity and water and also there are joined bathrooms between two room. The food here in our mess is prepared by sodexo.

I choose this college that is Thapar university because this university is very close to my house and the other colleges that I applied for were very far way from my home so I that is the way I choose this university the admission process is based on Jee percentile and 12th board marks

Faculty

The faculty members in a University are very well educated and very supportive. The exams that are conducted University in a sem are mid sem examinations and and sem examinations which has 70% of the total weightage

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
