the infrastructure of thapar university is absolutely stunning.
the girls to boys ratio is also very low as compared to other colleges.
the faculty member are generally completed their education from iit and other known colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very packed. It needs some relaxation. the papers are very frequent with many quizzes which act as a contributing factor in the final marks. the exam timings are very appropriate. The exams are also very tough.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 2400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is semester-wise. The semester fee is around 250000 rupees. the yearly goes to around 5lac to 5.5 lac. the college provides scholarships to 250 students every year on the basis of per year cgpa.

Campus Life

Saturanalia is the biggest fest happening near November in which many known artists are invited to sing and dance. throughout the year Thapar has many more fest like Oorja the sports festival and many more.

Admission

I chose this college rather than the other colleges as it was closer to my home. The placement of Thapar University is better than the other colleges to which I was getting admission. The admission process to college is very easy and can be done through the website.

Faculty

The faculty members are very helpful and friendly. They are mostly educated from iits. the faculty-to-student ratio is low. The exams are generally on the tougher edge but can be score goodmarks if attending lectures.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking.
