Course and syllabus are up to date. College atmosphere is very very good. You really learn in this college if you want to .
Teacher are good and teacher student interaction is good.

Dislikes

Boys to girls Ratio is very poor. 1 girls over 10-15 boys
Yes there are drugs in this college. But student use good drugs.
Fights are ofter seen in the college and student get expelled including me .

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is revealed and updated. There are project that we have to make every sem . This project is called ELC activity. And in June July vaccination you can do advance project with faculty of thapar .

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently 3rd year student and my 5sem fees that I have just paid is 3,14,000 and 58,000 for hostel and 24,000 mess fee. There are scholarship for single girl , family who's income are less than 5lpa , 8lpa and on cgpa basis

Campus Life

Yes the over all campus experience is good . Placement are good and club involvement is good and you learn a lot form your senior and form the club you join . You can join tech society (club) or any cultural society.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because this college is really good and provide great opportunity to me . Addmission process is simple based on your jee and 12 board exam. Then you apply to the college form through their website.

Course structure depends on what branch you choose. Also course are good. Exam system is are like mid sem and end sem and there comprises of 70 marks and remaining 30 comprises of 15 marks lab eval and 15 marks of quiz. Marking scheme depends upon teacher but they will surely pass you if you are failing from less then 10 marks

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking. I applied for VIT and SRM but didn't take admission due to poor quality of placements and peer group. I am from the General Outside Punjab quota.
