Hostel Life was superb, average campus size, Sports grounds, CS labs

There is no transparency in placements and one needs to mail for results.
No practical resources provided to students
Professors are teaching outdated courses

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is the worst part of my college Computer Engineering students need to learn chapters like Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Design i.e Mangonel and I don't know how will it help in industries. In my entire 4 years, there was no subject for javascript, instead they provide the options between ML/AI, AWS and full stack. But Javascript should be introduced as a general elective. Exams are conducted intensively MId sems, end sems, 2 sessionals, 2 lab evaluations and 2 vivas, making the life of the student harder.

Class Size: 2400Course Fees: INR 1800000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

To be precise, total fees was around 18L. Fees constituted of developmet fees, tuition fees majorly. Fees was increased by 4% every year. Scholarships to low income students(free) and high CGPA students were awarded.

Campus Life

Various Social clubs available Three fests in a year, Tech, cultural and food fest. track field, swimming pool, badminton auditorium, cricket ground, hockey ground, football ground, table tennis tables, lawn tennis, volleyball and basketball courts are there. There are no such student portals

Admission

Class 12 Boards and Jee Scores Application form available on the institution site Reservation not availed There is no entrance score but admission through Boards and Jee Rank Admission should be through Jee or Cuet only.

Faculty

Faculty student ratio would be around 1:50 Faculty teaching is constrained by the old syllabus Teachers are very much approachable, their potential is restricted by ridiculous old syllabi They are helpful in doing research courses They guide us through industry expectations and recommend life skills outside academics.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking.
