Course Curriculum Overview
I chose AIML as my course for 4 years. So the curriculum for first 2 years is same for us as the CSE and ISE students afterwards our curriculum changes and it is more specific to our course which we have chosen. For our 2021 batch there are 3 internals every semester for 40 marks which is scoring and after that there is end sem exams which is for 100 marks which is taken by VTU and the paper level is hard.
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities are the same as the job opportunities. We majority of the times get it after our 3rd year or the 6th semester. Internships are rarely provided from the companies as they take students for job and train them before giving them the opportunity
Placement Experience
Placement happen in our college after the 6th semester and and it goes on till the 8th semester. The college placements happen every year. This year the highest package received was for 25 lakhs and the average package is of 4 lakhs. The companies that visited our college are Accenture, Infosys,Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, juspay etc. More number of students get placed in computer related cources. This year there were less placements due to less job opportunities in market
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for students are based on which entrance exams they took. Like a student who has given Kcet he has less tution fee than the one who has given COMED K . The fees for the Kcet is around 1 lakh and for the comedk students is around 2.5 lakhs. Scholarships can be of two types first one is SSP which is given by the Karnataka government to students who are from Karnataka and NSP to anyone who satisfies the central government given conditions. The amount of scholarship depends on the background of the student as it is different for backward class and for farmers.
Campus Life
My college life has been preety good as I have met different kinds of people and experienced different environment . The college has provided me an exposure to experience and show my skills in front of everyone. College is equipped with the latest technologies, libraries and labs for the use of students. We can also participate in a lot of events to show our potential and our abilities.
Hostel Facilities
Our boys hostel has two kinds of accomodation one is a 3 sharing room and 1 is a single sharing room . The 3 sharing room costs less as we are sharing room. There is mess facilities which provides food 3 times a day. The 3 sharing costs 76,000 with the mess facilities and the single sharing costs 1,26,000. The mess food is vegetarian always as the college is run by matha . There is washing machine facility, a small badminton court and a gym.
Admission
I took the Kcet exams which is held in Karnataka. The application form we can get it from the Kcet website and it is available after we finish our 12th. The exam is conducted in Karnataka and the level of difficulty is medium as someone who has a clear cut basics of 11th and 12th class he or she can easily give the exams. It is a MCQ type paper. The improvement can be made in the administration process of the Kcet as it takes a long time to announce the exam results.
Faculty
There are enough faculty for the students and they can easily handle the students. The teaching method of teachers can be of showing powerpoint, using blackboard and chalk to explain the things or using a smart board/ projector
