Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum are good and according to VTU Belgaum and has latest technologies involved. As it's autonomous they have option of adding new syllabus which has good relevance in industry such as mechatronics, renewable energy, cnc and automation etc. Even one subject in 7th sem is compulsory to choose subject from different branches leading students to have good knowledge of other branches. According to me suggesting to improve more multidisciplinary subject must be included from beginning of 1st year rather waiting for 7th semester.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Best offers are provided for students for internship in leading companies making them to be industry ready. Companies like Dassault systemes, haladoc, Daimler trucks, Alston, samsung, nokia, Bosh and rest of the companies mentioned earlier provide internship usually leading to conversion for full time . Usually stipend paid by company is above 20,000 for sure in Mechanical students,it may vary from company to companies and IT branch students even get more

Placement Experience

4.5

Typically, placement opportunities begin at the end of the 5th semester and the beginning of the 6th semester. Companies like Halodoc often lead the hiring process, selecting around 15 students with attractive salary packages. Other prominent companies that participate in the recruitment drive include Dassault Systemes, Volvo, Daimler Trucks, Mercedes Benz, Micro Focus, Lam Research, National Instruments, Texas Instruments, Alstom, Deloitte, TCS, L&T, Polaris, and JSW, among others. The highest package for a mechanical engineering student in a core field was 14 LPA offered by Lam Research, while the overall highest package reached 48 LPA. On average, students can expect an annual package of around 6 LPA. Additionally, the institution offers good internship opportunities for the final semester. If a student secures an internship lasting more than four months during the final semester, they are exempt from attending regular classes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees depends on the createria based on which we have secured admission. For mechanical you can enter through different entries, entry through Management quota, through KCET (Aided and Non Aided), Comedk etc and extra fees such as for placement training etc are to be paid. Good amount of scholarship are avilable from government as well as from college and endowment awards which makes less burden upon students. Good placement offers are offered in college in my batch majority of them were placed in mechanical engineering branch

Campus Life

4

My overall experience is good, as we talk about fest branches celebrate individually their branch fest and also an annual college fest will be held, but college festival is below average level with less crowd attraction and not so interesting . Library has good number of books and easily Available, Good opportunity is available in sports and well equipped gym, indoor stadium and outdoor courts are present, usually weight lifting, basketball, softball, kabbadi cricket, hockey and many more games are played and our college students represent our VTU university Nationals. There are prominent clubs related to Motorsports like TEAM SAENIEKS,AGNIE RACING,and aerotantrix, robotics club ,IEEE,etc which helps students to exchange knowledge and improve life and technical Usually for Motorsports club it's fully run by students with minimal support from college.

Admission

Admission process is offline in which you are required to attend physically in college for document verification.I have entered through KCET and for mechanical aided seat last cutoff was 15500 in second round for General rural category. You must require very good ranking ifvyou are in general category and without any reservation.

Faculty

4

There are good faculties with PhD and even experienced teaching staff who support students in paper publication and projects and they are very friendly with students and are easily available and approachable. But as mentioned earlier some lectures for design subjects are under qualified and don't know basics of design.

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
