Course Curriculum Overview

As I was very much interested in this course hence choose this, still I'm in 2nd sem so it's hard to tell about the faculty, but from what I have seen till now all are pretty well qualified, and has good amount of experience in the field.

Placement Experience

NIE Means placements, placements means NIE, the college has reputation for it's placements, provides a pretty good training for this, highest package was given by Goldman Sachs it was about 65lpa, the avg will be around 12lpa and CS branch has reputation of achieving 100% placements

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are coming through kcet the fee is pretty decent, but through comedk or management it might seem hefty, as I know there are n number of scholarships that you can apply, also even the college offers number of scholarships for toppers.

Campus Life

The Annual fest is called Technieks it's a month long extravaganza,It's pretty well, has some cool events, there are lots of clubs in NIE, Mainly, racing clubs, cultural, technical clubs etc, tbh the campus life is good

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provides 3 sharing room, everyone will be given a separate study table and chair, book stand and a cupboard. Rooms are well lit and ventilated, for the hostel you need to submit the admission copy of the college, the mess food is good

Hostel Fee: INR 97500 per year

Admission

Admission process was quiet simple, I had written the professional courses entrance exam KCET conducted by Kara taka state govt. I had secured a pretty well rank, first you have fill in the choices , after that once counselling results are announced, we need to pay a kcet amount of around 92k as dd, that will generate an admission letter through which you can get into the college, at college they'll ask for your academic certificates and etc

from 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements the campany names are infoysis , acceretor and google the highest package is 24 LPA the average package is 3.5 LPA percentage of student placed is 20 % minimum I want to get a job

From fourth year first semester students are eligible for campus placements and companies from all over the world come visit our campus to hire students in the campus placement and companies like Google Microsoft and other top companies and other top Japanese companies also come to hire us. Each company minimum offers are 70 so that all the students get placed in the campus placement about the highest placement package it is almost gross 50 lakhs per annum and talking about the average salary package or the median salary is 12 lakhs per annum and almost above 95% of students gets placed and few students do not get placed due to not eligible by their CGPA and two students out of 70 gets rejected

Placement Experience:

The placements will begon from 7 semister. The big companirs lile amazon, philips, tech mahindra, bosch etc offer placemetns here last year the highest package was 12 LPA given by amazon to a student. The oercentage of students getting placements is around 75%. My plans after degree is start my own business i dont like working under people.

I came to nie through kcet. Kcet application can be found in the website of kea. I availed rural quota. So the first round cutoff was around 9201 for information science. Honest review of The national institute of engineering

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
