Library- The library has a collection of 28000 volumes and total number of titles about 2264. It has 21 print journals, 9 magazines and 16 newspapers. The digital library has 1774 CDs& DVDs, 76 project report and 25 computers. It also has a reading room with the capacity of 125 students at a time.
Computer Lab- The computer lab has 160 PCs of all department with core2 duo/Dual core processor and with Linux/window XP operating systems. The lab has all basic and necessary software for projects.
Hostel- The Institute has separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel room is available in 3 seater.
Sports- Institute has the facility for all indoor and outdoor games like- Kho-Kho, Badminton, swimming, Basketball, Cricket, Throw ball and football etc.
Club:
Mech. Club- This club conduct the activities like- CATIA course, CFEM course, CROBOTICS course and CTool design course at GT & TC. A special MECH DAY will be held on every year in the month on MAY where there is an OATH taking ceremony for all the passing out engineers of the department, which is held only in & only for MECHISMOS.
Civil Club- It organize the various club like Invocation, Welcoming all Dignitaries, Felicitation etc.

I would apply for jce and nie collages ratbe rthan this collage. No i didn't get a rejection from other colleges because I didn't make it there because of fees structure and transportation. Eligibility is cet or money Admission starts at aramba Cutoff will be around 50000 for categorize general CET is most preffered

We have to write CET ie Common entrance test For engineering courses in all the engineering colleges. MiT mysore is a VTU affiliated university during my time but now it is a autonomous university. The rankings of the admissions and cuttoffs are given at the KEA portal from which you get government seat in the college . All the SC/ST reservations are taken as per the cutoffs given by the college management and portal. According to KEA we have to take 3 internals per sem and then a external examination at the sem end
Admission:
To get into Bachelor's of Engineering (in Computer science and engineering) you should have passed your 12 th standard, and admission through Kcet, comedk ,and management is available. For admission directly to 2nd year one must complete diploma and write dcet, the cutoff varies for each branch.

- The college feels safe compared to other colleges due to strict faculties and security.
- The teachers are well and expert in their subjects,so every subject they teach goes directly to our mind
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is quite small and less areas to explore
- There's less government bus facility so need to wait until the college bus leaves.

My cet ranking was 80,000 i belong to ST category and through cet I got this college in third round. Then i reached the college and started application process by filling the details in the form provided and we should pay atleast half of the fees and they provided me with I'd card. If someone is looking to join MIT then they can approach them so that they'll help in seat allotment where they'll make arrangements so that you get MIT college through your cet ranking.

- The overall academic experience is great in terms of quality of education provided by the facilities, Every individual can grasp the concept easily.
- The campus is well maintained by the staff, toilets are neat and tidy. With drinking water supply 24/7.
Dislikes
- Due to the long distance between the college and the city centre it is hard to reach the college and it is located on the outskirts of the city. Due to which there is Lack of transportation facilities available to reach the location.
- The placements are good for the current Trends of market. You can expect a lot of opportunities for Computer science students & ISE department where as civil engineering students and mechanical students get the least opportunities.
Admission:
Admission process was very simple and easy to get done. The commination with the staffs at account section are easy and simple. Apart from heavy fees structure there is benefits of scholarships for most of the students. Apart from that there is almost minimum cutoff if you are entering the college through exams

- Its surrounded by full of greenery which provides peacefulness and calmness again which is good for students to learn.

- It's quite far away from the city hence its little difficult for students to get things they want urgently.
- Compulsory paying to lunch in the afternoon even if they didn't eat.

I got admission via KCET which is a government seat apart from that I didn't take any entrance exam. Regarding the admission process, it was quite easy and simple, just filling out the forms provided by the college.

The eligibility is 10+2 with 60%+. The staff was cooperative towards the admission process it happened in a very easy and soft manner. The staff members at the time of admission were too friendly towards us and also towards our parents so basically admission process was good.
