Likes

the infrastructure is very good and modular
the teachers are sometimes helpful and make the subject interesting
The hostel and good in the campus are very good and way above standards.

Dislikes

Hostel intime is very low. you need you be inside your hostel by 8 3o.
dogs in the morning are a hazard and they are very scary and territorial.
The checking if the exams is very rigit and tight.

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is comprehensive and up to date and standards. They include all the subjects mandated by AICT. The teaching is up to date but sometimes the exams ask a bit more than taught. exams are hard but not hard enough but the checking is very strict.

Internships Opportunities

internships are offered at college and sometimes people get it from outside too. you need to study and do extra stuff apart from curriculum to get them. you can get internships starting from 25k a month upto 2lpa outside. just work on projects and be a good student.

Placement Experience

Placements are fine but have definitely taken a hit after the recession, average package is around 12 lacks for the college. Highest is about 60lpa. approx 70 percent student got placed. After the degree i don't plan on sitting for the placements i will do masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is very high. but there are plenty of scholarships etc, you can easily avail them. if you get scholarship then it's easy to afford. there are a huge number of scholarships awarded. to check all the scholarship see the website for details.

Campus Life

The college life if perfect. There are a lot of societies and extracurricular activities. Lots of sports. The infrastructure Is very very modern and new. It's very good.The bathroom the hostels the water and the food everything is hygienic and new. Student life is very good because of all the constant events happening on campus

Hostel Facilities

You are provided with a bed, matress, a cupboard a table and a chair. they are very good and somewhat feel like a resort starting 2nd year. The meal quality is veryy good and hygienic and tasty. Registration is very easy and quick. you just have to fill a Google form given by them.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

The admission was easy, you go to their website and click apply and fill in the details and then when the cutoff is released you are automatically informed if you eligible or not. they have no exams, they take admission in basis of jee mains and board exams.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience
