Lenient behavior of teachers and seniors
Not much stress . We have enough time to do other things.
Hostel mess is good and rooms are good .

Dislikes

Too much student strength in the college.
You have to enter in the hostel in the night before 8.30 only

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is best. you dont need any kind additional tuition classes outside campus . Professors are top notch , they will make the of you and you just need attend the classes to ace the exams.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 238600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is a bit expensive . But for the fact that thapar is an private institution, it is justfied for the infrastructure they are providing to their students. We also get a lot of opportunities on almost daily basis through WhatsApp messages college societies extra.

Campus Life

As a first year student (fresher), i had never seen a fests like this! There were so many things to watch and do .Almost all type of subject books are available in the library and also on their app navalanda central library

Admission

Admission process is easy . You just have to go to the thapar site . And you there will be a registration form which you have to fill with all your personal info . And after that you will receive an email about if you got the admission or not.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. I had a really nice percentile of 98.9 in jee mains but what happend is i intentionally wanted to score 69 in boards i didnt know about the 75 percent jee mains criteria i got 69.7 i like to call it 69.69 but i messed up so i applied in vit as well and srm and thapar i got in all of them after giving there respective tests on the same fees but i chose thapar was better after some consultation with my relatives who are in this field and know people in this field i got admission in the end on basis on jee only in thapar and the experience is well...Read More

Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking. I applied for VIT and SRM but didn't take admission due to poor quality of placements and peer group. I am from the General Outside Punjab quota.
