I took admission in this college through WBJEE examination.i got a rank of 7400 in WBJEE. I like coding that is why I chose computer science and engineering.

this course is very helpful. I love coding so I choose computer science and engineering(CSE). this college run under the university named the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology offers a very good syllabus. my CSE syllabus is very well designed.i'm through various kinds of coding language along with various computer-related topics.

yes, Many renowned MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Amazon come every year for placements of CSE and IT students. Also as it is the only leather technology college of eastern India, leather technology placements are the best here. Our college has a collaboration with Italy for leather goods import and export. Around 70% of students are being placed every year.

Ours is a government engineering college but the placement is still average. Around 60-75% students get placed. The recruiters are companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. If you are lucky, you can get placed in the renowned companies like IBM, Adobe, Oracle, etc. However, only 3 to 5 people from the entire batch will get placed in such companies. In case you are wondering, there will be no Google, Microsoft, Facebook - the giants, as recruiters.

NO, no scholarship is offered by our college, although u may get various types of online scholarships available. the only think college does is it can reduce your fess.

the gender ratio is very bad in our college as because we don't have girls hostel, almost in a batch of 140 students only 25-30 students are girls.campus is good a lot of greenery is present in this college. a lot of trees and a big playground. sometimes it fills like its a park.we organize a lot of fest in this college and utilize the resources in it.

the hostel is very bad for our college. actually, the hostel is an apartment building of WBPDCL which is taken as rent.we don't have our own hostel building. the building is in very bad condition. any time the building can fall down and kill 100 of GCELT hostellers.our college is not doing anything with our building. although a new building is under construction.

yes senior is very helpful to us.communication with the seniors is very helpful they teach us how to get adapted to this college surrounding and how to get better marks in the exam.

For admission, first one need to seat for WBJEE examination.if his or her rank is good enough, he or she can take admission in this college through WBJEE counseling process. the examination process is fully online, and notification is published on the WBJEE official website.

The faculty, I can say that it's a government organization. The government organizations have good faculty. All our professors are extremely helpful and friendly. Their way of teaching is very easy to understand. And the way they interact with us is very good! Our lab teachers are responsible and friendly.
