Thought I wanted to go for COE but according to my jee score I got ECE . All the faculty phd from reputated Universities. Faculty: student ratio is 1/30 Teaching method is very interactive and modern classrooms are an add on to it. In a semester there are two exams: mid sem and end sem

Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft visit on campus for the mainly for role of software engineers while other companies visit of many other roles according to their need and branch of the student and course pursued

Second year students are eligible for intership programs . Companies like Infosys, visit the campus to recruit students. Highest package is nearly 45 lakhs while average for COE is 11-12 lakhs. Nearly 75% students get placed. After getting the degree I will be sitting for placements

There are many fests on campus like TFF, Satrunalia . Also there are many interactive societies. These societies organise many events . Library is well furnished and there is availability of every kind of book. There are modern classrooms and there is facilities of every sports ground and equipments

Facilities provided in the room are well furnished bed and study table along with an almirah and side table . There are both ac and non AC rooms. Three times meals are provided. Hostel are good according to its price

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
