Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is regularly updated to be aligned with the industry standards and technological advancements. They have a highly qualified and experienced faculty, comprising professors, associate professors and assistant professors

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

For Computer related branches, mainly the companies offer Software development roles, companies also come for non-tech roles such as technical sales and marketing roles. Many companies such as D.E. Shaw, Arcesium, JP Morgan, etc visit the campus for placements as well as internships.

Placement Experience

Students become eleigible for campus placements at the end of the 6th semester. There are 300+ companies that visit the campus for recruitments. Highest Package oncampus offered was 42LPA and average package is about 11LPA. about 70-80% students get placed on an average

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many types of scholarships based on the students perfomance in JEE Mains, and the students perfomance in the first year of the college. The fees hikes with about 10-15k per year throughout the duration of the course. You can expect your degree's cost to be between 20-28lacs, depending on the branch, w/o any scholarship.

Campus Life

There are mainly two fests in the college: Saturnalia and IDR the name of the second fest. There are literally thousands of books in the library of every domain of engineering. The classrooms have ACs and all blocks have a central Wi-Fi. Amenities for every sport are available. There are many clubs to engage with for every type of person.

Hostel Facilities

Some rooms are AC Equipped. Each hostel has its own Wi-Fi. Hostels preferences are allocated on the basis of the performance of the student in the previous semester. Each hostel has its own mess and great food TBH, most of the hostels are served by a private company named Sodexo, great standard food.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

There was no entrance test, the admission was on the basis of two scores, namely PCM in 12th grade and JEE mains rank. The cutoff for my branch i.e. ENC was 95% PCM in boards in the third round of the counselling.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

My plan is to pursue masters but placements at LPU are best. Over 100 tech comapnies have tie-ups with our university and all of them are of highest regard. From Code tech to Flipkart and Google every big tech company come to our campus. Student have bagged packages close to 1 crores as well from LPU campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
