travelling cost i hate the most about the college
the best teacher were not put on regular position ,we had old teacher who were least interested
we had the kind of expensive fees in the college and no financial help

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in international politics so I chose this course. 120 :1 was the ratio between students and faculty. The faculty members were highly qualified but the teaching method was not up to the mark. I should have been more interactive, it would be much more interesting

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 21000. The cost of the was high, I can definitely say that, scholarships and financial assistance were not given at any point. so in that term, I am still unhappy about the fee hike and the type of help that students do not avail of, only merit-based scholarships provided.

Campus Life

We used to have an Annual day of college called lashkara. It was the best traditional day full of Punjabi music and Punjabi dance. we used to have a large library that had tons of books of different different topics and subjects. College was also fine in sports and it has different societies.

Admission

The eligibility of the course was the 12 class board percentage, and the aggregation of the best 4 was considered. It was all on the University of Delhi portal called Samarth. It was more time-consuming at that time. I would suggest cutting down the duration of the process of admission.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
