Life at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, New Delhi

The course is quite good, it includes all the concepts of commerce in-depth and that is the reason I choose this course as I wanted to get in-depth knowledge. Faculty: Student ratio was 1:60, All professors were PHD. Exams were conducted on time and the examination level was medium I believe it was easy to pass the exams if a person has prepared well.

Internships from companies like Collegedunia, Decathlon, Aon etc were offered. Profiles from all departments were offered and the stipends given were also fine. After completion of internships candidates were given stipends, certificates, and LOR.

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the end of the second year. Companies like Collegedunia, S&P Global, Aon Hewitt, Accenture, etc visit our college. The highest package offered was 12 lacs and the average package is 5 lacs. Profiles offered are financial analyst, Business Development Executive, Data Analyst, etc. 40-50% students get placed.

Fees for B.Com(H) course is Rs. 1,20,000. Fees include placement charges, tuition fees, lab, and library fees. The cost of studying in GGSIPU is quite minimal and the opportunities you get are overwhelming. The university does not provide any scholarships or financial assistance. I got placed at Collegedunia via my college placement cell.

Well, fests were organized every year and societies are also there, which one can join as per his/her interest. Societies like dance, music, sports, literature, gaming, and many more are there. Libraries are present so books are available in good numbers. Classrooms have all the necessary amenities. Sports events are organized such as tournaments and official matches. Students have made societies like tark, adventure, ecell and many more.

One must have cleared class 12th with a minimum 60%. One must have secured a rank in the CET as per the college cutoff list. The application form is available on the GGSIPU website-- submission of all documents including mark sheets and identity documents and application fee as well. Well, the admission process was quite smooth. I think the website should be more efficient when the traffic is high.
